Thank you for a fantastic stay, the apartment is truly fantastic, beautifully styled and well provided for. The views are breathtaking and the facilities available are second to none. I stayed here for 3 weeks on a work project and it really made my stay very pleasant. Thank you Karen for your wonderful and drive to exceed expectations attitude. Beware!

Neither bathroom has an electrical outlet; you therefore must dry your hair in the kitchen or a bedroom. The second bedroom does not have a closet. The second bedroom has only one electrical outlet, far away from the bedside lamp. One of the pictures shows the lamp lit; this is deceptive, as a 12' extension cord (not provided) is needed to plug in the lamp. Beds are rock hard. The unit was abuzz with gnats. On the last day of our stay (before leaving for India), we discovered the dryer did not work. Max (the property manager) admitted he knew this when we called to complain. We should have been informed prior to arrival. Max offered to bring drying racks to use on the decks; however, we then discovered that the deck sliders would not open. Another non-disclosure; we should have been told about this as well. So, we then had to wait for the slider repairman to arrive to repair them. Four hours later, we were able to hang our wet laundry to dry, but had missed our bus to Abu Dhabi. Bottom line: we did not get what we paid for, as described in the property listing. Rent this property at your own risk.

It’s always our top priority to ensure that all our guests enjoy superior accommodation, excellent facilities and great location during their stay in Dubai, and it saddens us that you didn’t feel as though you received this.
Addressing the points that you make:
1) With regards to the lack of electrical sockets in the bathrooms, this is standard practice across the country, for safety reasons. Electricity in wet areas can be extremely hazardous and Dubai architects tend to place sockets away from high risk locations for your personal safety.
2) You are absolutely correct in that the second bedroom does not have a wardrobe. We apologise if you were led to believe that it did; however, neither our description nor image gives any false impression that it does. The master bedroom contains 6 wardrobes, which is where the majority of the storage space can be found. We’re sorry for the inconvenience caused.
3) You mention the lighting in the bedroom; this room is fitted with 6 halogen lights in the ceiling. However, we’ll take your comments on board about requiring extra light, thank you for raising it.
4) We’re sorry to hear about your inconvenience in finding that the dryer did not work and that the patio doors did not open; of course, this isn’t right and we’re glad to hear that Max offered solutions to these issues. We’re really sorry to hear you missed your bus, which must have been incredibly frustrating. Was your last day the first time that you’d tried to open your balcony doors?

Goldcrest Views

We had a lovely stay in Dubai. We were very grateful for your thoughtfulness in providing tea, coffee, milk and juice together with a loaf of bread on our arrival. With a 4 year old and 7 year old to feed first thing, it was very much appreciated. The apartment is beautifully decorated throughout and more than adequate for a family of four. The kids really enjoyed having their own TV and the rooftop pool. We would definitely stay here again.

The apartment is central to all Dubai sights you want to visit. The pool on the 42th floor is great!

Goldcrest Views - Jumeriah Lake Towers

Dear Karen - we have just returned from a great five night stay in your apartment at Jumeriah Lake Towers in Dubai. We found the apartment, booked the apartment and paid for the apartment all over the internet which was very easy to do and the pictures on the internet do truly represent the apartment as advertised - it was fabulous! We were a party of four adults so quite appreciated the two bathrooms (the ensuite for the main bedroom was amazing!!!) and also appreciated the fact that taxis were readily available at the front door of the block of apartments. Mini-supermarket on-site, large supermarket 10 minute walk away, swimming pool on the roof and a fabulous Italian restaurant on the ground floor of the office block next door .... all contributed to a most enjoyable stay and I thoroughly recommend your apartment to anyone looking for a 'home away from home' whilst in Dubai. Oh ... also appreciated the eggs, bread, fruit, etc. left for us for our early morning arrival - they went down a treat! Thank you so much

Excellent Quality and Value - Dubai

We stayed for 3 nights in February half term, 2 adults, 3 children. Excellently decorated and very well equipped apartment with excellent views. Beds and bed linen very comfortable, whilst the sofa bed was great for our teenage son. Parking very easy and the rooftop infinity pool was superb with amazing views out to sea. Location excellent to get onto the main roads or use the metro nearby.

Overall, great value (especially when compared to Dubai hotel prices for 2 rooms for larger families) and a perfect stay. Service from Karen and local property manager all first class. Would use again and highly recommend!

The Dubai Metro

It will have 47 stations and cover 52Kms; your stop is Dubai marina which is conveniently located right behind the apartment building. This station will also serve the Marina and air conditioned travelators will take you from the station into the heart of the marina.
