The cottage is set between woodland & open countryside with panoramic views to the Blackdown Hills (designated an area of outstanding natural beauty) & Wellington Monument.
The large conservatory/lounge has a log burner (logs provided), two settees, two arm chairs, hi-fi system, wide screen TV with Sky box (full package), video, DVD player & a good selection of videos, DVDs, CD's, books & games. The conservatory double doors lead out into a sheltered, private patio area, a perfect place for alfresco dining and then on to a large, mature private garden.
The large beamed farmhouse style kitchen has solid limed oak kitchen units, a range style gas cooker with griddle plate, gas hobs, two ovens & a grill. Also a toaster, toasted sandwich maker, dishwasher, washer/dryer, coffee machine, steamer, potato peeler, iron & ironing board, a wide variety of cooking utensils, pots, pans & dishes for six people plus extra for dinner guests.
The ground floor bedroom has a four-poster bed, (all bedding provided) colour TV, video, dressing table, en-suite shower.
The Relax in the Whirlpool bath in the large family bathroom which has sink & WC. There is also a separate cloakroom with WC and sink.
Upstairs are two further bedrooms.
A spacious & luxurious room with double aspect windows looking over woodland full of bluebells in spring on one side and open countryside on the other. A comfortable king sized bed, two arm chairs, large wardrobe, dressing table with mirror, large TV.
A twin room with two single beds, a wardrobe, colour TV and unit with lots of books and games for younger visitors. Cots and high chairs can be provided.
Children are made very welcome with toys, games, a play area with swings, slides, see-saw, climbing frame and plenty of space to play. There is parking outside & further parking onsite.
Price includes full bed linen with duvets, towels, tea towels, electricity, gas, logs for the fire and use of the Hot Tub.
