Hazel Cottage is a delightful 4 bedroom cottage situated just 250m from the shores of Loch Awe (The Jewel of Argyll). Only 15 min drive from both Inverary and Dalmally, it is ideally placed for enjoying everything that the area has to offer. The cottage has been recently renovated and is bright and well appointed, with one double bedroom downstairs and one king plus two twin bedrooms upstairs. The property has two bathrooms - one upstairs, with bath and shower over. Newly fitted downstairs bathroom with walk-in corner shower and freestanding roll top bath. Large lounge with Calor Gas stove and stunning loch views. Spacious dining kitchen, again with loch views. New outdoor decked area with Finnish BBQ hut. Ample Parking. Maximum of two well behaved dogs by prior arrangement.

Hazel Cottage is well equipped to provide you with a fabulous holiday in one of the most stunning areas in Scotland. Despite being easily accessible – just an hour and a half’s drive from Glasgow and only 20 minutes from the picture postcard whitewashed town of Inverary - it affords a sense of remoteness, peace and tranquility amidst the most glorious of surroundings.

Recently renovated, it is bright and airy, with a spacious lounge (Calor Gas stove), modern kitchen-dining room, two bathrooms, 4 bedrooms and upstairs sitting area. New for 2012! Stunning downstairs bathroom with walk-in shower and freestanding roll-top bath. The sun room and outdoor deck offer stunning views of Loch Awe, the mountain range and the Cruachan Dam whilst the Finnish BBQ hut provides a fun and funky space for outdoor eating and socializing. High powered midge machine running throughout the season.

There is ample off road parking whilst a two minute stroll will take you straight to the shores of Loch Awe, where boat hire is readily available.

Notes

  • Usual lets Sat-Sat. Discounted short breaks (Sat-Tues or Tues-Sat) available (not in peak season). 15% discount (low-mid season) for parties of less than 4. Bed linen and towels (not beach towels) included. Property cleaned and bedding/towels changed weekly. Check out strictly by 10.00am. Check in 4pm. A non-refundable 20% deposit is payable on booking. First £25 of fuel included. Metered electricity. Gas included.

    The balance is payable six weeks prior to the commencement of the letting period booked and includes a £150 good housekeeping deposit (to cover any additional cleaning required and/or security for any damage caused the property or its contents).

    For bookings made six weeks or less prior to the commencement of the tenancy, the full rent together with any additional charges, must be paid at the time the booking is made. The deposit is returnable if the booking is not accepted by us.
  • Rental rates start from £490 in low season ranging up to £990 in peak season. Christmas and New Year rates also available.
  • Please inquire for 3/4 night short break rates (not peak season) starting from £336
