3 Lovely Weeks!
We had a great 3 weeks holiday, just what we needed! Car hire was essential, as although there were bars and a shop just a few minutes walk away, the area has loads to offer and explore.
Before we set off, we were sent easy and clear directions for the drive from Mucia airport to the house, and my worry over not having sat nav not needed, and there are maps at the house to help find your way around the area.
We were met by a friendly agent in Playa Paraiso, who was English, and after showing us round even walked us round to the shop to help us find our feet. The house was super clean and had everything we needed, ( apart from a potato masher for my 3 year old's mash, but the lovely neighbour lent us one!).
We found the welcome folder really useful and gave us some great days out, to see castles at Lorca, safari parks at Murcia, and horse riding just 10 mins up the road. It also gave taxi numbers and restaurant menus, as well as information about the local markets.
We planned our break in March, which meant that we were too early for swimming, as the pool didn't open until April, and the Mar Menor was too chilly to do any more than paddle, but we found plenty to do, there seems to be a park round every corner, perfect for anyone with young children, and the local bars were so welcoming and accommodating, we felt right at home.
We would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone, of any age, and hope to return in the future.
