Superb for families, walkers, mountain bikers or purely topping up the all over tan (we are not overlooked) Infinity pool with ample comfortable sitting or lounging areas around the pool or under covered terraces. Inside the villa is furnished with modern contemporary quality furniture and fixings. Little extras like personalised logo towels and the latest nindendo Wii, lcd,sat, dvd, i pod and dock are only some of the items available for guests.

Most popular with clients would be Alymerida beach with its variety of water side tavernas.This whole area has many quaint villages and mountain villages far from commercial tourism. About 30mins drive west brings you to the city of Chania (further brings you to a fab water park) where you will find many museums and historic churches off quiet squares. There are many boat trips on offer from the historic harbour area as well as many fabulous restaurants. For the young at heart there are a number of bars and clubs. Chania also provides a selection of tourist shops and boutiques. The large historic covered market hall provides a different shopping experience on not to be missed. Above Chania towards the airport side are many coffee houses and restaurants that provide breathtaking views over the city. The villa is also well stituated for exploring the many picture post card villages in the mountains and around the coast.

Villa Omorfia is only a 10 minute walk to a traditional Greek village and a 5/7 min drive to a fab beach. Although only constructed in 2007 the owners have spent much time and money in creating a fantastic home, features such as natural stone walls, finished drive way with ample parking, pergolas, hardwood deck, stone/rock layouts, which at night are illuminated with a mix of light styles and intensities, a covered cabana with decked bbq area, can also be used as a message area (message plinth supplied) this spot is very tranquil and has a calming destressing feel! Greek stone piilars with safety glass and around the infinity pool stainless steel and glass give this pool and surrounding area its quality edge over other villas and protect you if the Meltemi breeze picks up. Villa omorfia was constructed on its particular half acre with location location location as our number one priority.

We had a fantastic 2 weeks holiday in September - villa and all of its facilities was as described. Wonderful peaceful setting with great sunsets over the bay. Great bars just a short drive away in Plaka with fab beach and delicious food in close by Almyrida, all topped off with lovely friendly people, what more could you ask for - it was heaven. Cant wait to visit Crete again and would definitely stay in this Villa and highly recommend it . Property was well maintained with the local managers only a phone call away and quick to respond when you needed them both with help and advice. Owners were also extremely helpful and again only a phone call away. No real downsides however it did take us longer than the suggested 10mins to walk to the local village, may be we are slow walkers but it certainly took a lot longer coming back - mostly up hill. We were hoping to have a taverna we could comfortably walk to so not always having to rely on someone driving, but this was no real hardship and the fab villa and location made up for this.

A perfect villa, very well equipped, with a very private pool [small but good] where my wife, daughter and grandchildren had a wonderfully relaxing time. Easy 10 minute walk to nearest shop that managed some of the basics, and a 10 minute drive to nearest village that provided everything else needed. A vehicle is essential. Beaches either 3 minutes drive to beautiful rocky cove, or 10 minutes to sandy beaches with resturents, cafes and shops. Easy 15 minute drive to main highway opening up the rest of Crete for exploration. Thoroughly recommended.
