Butterfly Meadow is a villa split into spacious apartments. We are located in the small town of Ratzakli near Skala, 40 min from the airport which is halfway between Katelios and Skala, on the southern end of the Greek Ionian island of Kefalonia. Kamina beach is the nearest beach, with acres of light sand and shallow sea which goes on for miles. Kaminia is a natural nesting ground for the loggerhead turtles. Skala beach is about 1.8 miles away and stretches out as far as the eye can see, with soft white sand and fringed by pine trees and bright aquamarine sea, Skala beach is one of the most spectacular on Kefalonia (Cephalonia). It has many restaurants and tavernas as well as small supermarkets, gift shops, travel agents, bars, and car rental facilities. Many of these are located along Skala's main street, but do explore the side streets, there are shops and tavernas hidden away along many of these, which are more competitively priced.

At Butterfly Meadow there are three apartments, one family room and a swimming pool (8x4m). All apartments are fully air conditioned and comprises of bedroom area, open plan kitchen, dining area, and on suite bathroom. The balcony you will find a table, chairs and retractable washing line. Also a panoramic view of the ocean and Kamina beach. All new apartments built in 2007. All apartments can be hired out as a Villa which can sleep up to 10 people.

Nearest Beach: beach at 0.3 Miles
Butterfly Meadow apartments are located in the small town called Ratzakli, which is around 10 minutes from the main town of Skala. The nearest beach which is Kamina beach is only 10 minutes walk away. Located by olive trees overlooking the sea the views are spectacular in the evening, the sea is dotted with sails of yachts making for the lovely harbour. As you sit on the terrace or balcony in the cool evening shade sipping a drink, you may be deciding where you want to eat. Perhaps one of the tavernas near the beach or maybe seafood right at the waters edge in the village. What about tomorrow? A swim in the clear water from the beach just down the hill or stay put at the pool.

Notes: The apartments are very spacious and airy. Magnificent views can be seen from both rooms. The one thing that everyone does as soon as they get out of the car on arrival is to stare spell bound at the view. All windows and patio doors are fitted with fly screens. We were met on arrival by the owners, who were lovely and very approachable should we have had any problems - which we didn't. Appartment was set in a lovely quiet location with fantastic views and was kept very clean.

We will cetainly be telling our friends about it, but would recommend hiring a car if you want a choice of restaurants and the nearest beach is more than 5 mins walk.
