Ponte mammolo apartment is a Home away from Home, 12 minutes from Colosseum by subway Line B. The rooms are spacious, the windows are large, the ceilings are high. The flat is very well equipped, with washing machines and microwaves, DVDs and dishwashers, radio, Internet Wi-Fi Broadband and TV, linen and towels. The dining area seats 6+2 and is very comfortable and efficient - it has a large balcony for an al fresco cup of coffee. Parking is Free and unrestricted - usually by the front door.

Travel info and maps are provided. Your journeys can be fully planned before you leave the front door. The flat's position is excellent for touring, as you have a direct line to Colosseum (12 minutes) and in only 10 minutes you can be at termini station.. You will love coming 'home' after a day out in the big city. There is a children's playground within 3 minutes walk.

Excellent for families with children, couples, businessmen and tourists.

  • Check in/check out policy:

    Check in between working days mon-sat 3.00 PM and 8.00 PM. Check out is by 10.30 AM. Although 3.00 pm is the official check-in time, you have the option of an Early Check-In when the prior guest checks out (often 10.30 am).To avoid confusion, never start checking in before the prior guest has fully departed the apartment. If you are interested in an Early Check-In, email us to check availability.

    We charge extra (to be paid cash upoin arrival):

    -25 euro for late arrivals (in case of flights delays, traffic, etc) between 8.00 pm and 10.00 pm. Please note that arrivals after 10.00 pm are not permetted.
    - 40 euro for arrivals on sundays and bank holidays (3.00 pm-8.00 pm)
    - 50 euro for arrivals on Easter, Easter monday, may 1st, August 15th, November 1st and January 6th
  • You will be asked to provide a 100 euro security deposit (only in cash) that will be refunded when you return the flat in the 'pre-rental condition'.Any costs due to damage, broken or missing items, or any other costs will be first deducted from your security deposit and secondly (if required) charged to you.Security deposit to be refunded at your departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection).
    A 30% deposit is required to hold your booking.
    The balance of the fee is due upon arrival.

Notes: I am sorry that pets are not allowed. Whilst Wheelchair access is easy into the block, and there are adequate lifts to the eight floor, the flat/ bathroom’s doors are rather narrow and the shower will not be accessible. Smoking allowed on the balcony only !

'The apartment is very well furnished, kitchen and everything else are great. Has a computer with good Internet. It is very big and the hosts are really friendly. Has a very nice distant view towards Rome. The subway is not too near though, a 7 min walk. Overall thought it was a great experience.' Anelia B. 'The apartment was really nice and clean. After just a little time it really felt like home. Place was also good to be with children, there was enough space to play and just at the end of the road there was a nice playground. Owner's were really friendly and helpful. We can warmly recommend this apartment!' Hanna O. 'The apartment was very clean and quite well appointed. It has a great view out of Rome to the mountains. Comfortable and convieniant

I stayed here in May with my partner and my 2 daughters aged 11 and 13. We found it to be an ideal place for our needs. The apartment is lovely, very homely with everything you might need, all the home comforts plus maps and tourist info. And having the supermarket, pharmacy and metro station all a moments walk away was really cool. Everything was clean and fresh, the beds were so comfy and it was great having a dishwasher and clothes washing machine and my kids were delighted with the computer because they could get on facebook !

Also being a residential area it was considerably cheaper than the city center. The local restaurants and shops were fantastic with friendly staff and it was great having a proper pizzeria on our doorstep (4 very large pizzas for €20!) Although I would particularly recommend the restaurant just 2 blocks down, (just past the pharmacy). They were wonderful, translating the menu, giving us free samples and even joining us for drinks at the end of the night ! A really great dining experience !
Its a perfect place to stay when visiting Rome as it will suit anyone from a family to a group of friends. Gino was great collecting us from the airport and arranging the return trip, Its also very close to the main ring road around Rome so if you were driving to the city it is easy to find without having to venture near the city center or drive out of the city as we did to Pompeii and Rainbow Magicland Theme Park. Probably the best holiday we've had and having such a nice place to retire to every night just made it. Thanks Gino !

Our Best find in Rome so far.

We were that impressed with this wonderful apartment last year, we just had to return. Entering the spacious lounge and looking through the doors onto the balcony, really did feel like coming home. It was lovely to see Omar the housekeeper again and to speak to Gino the owner at last. This apartment has all you need for a relaxing stay. Fully equipped with everthing including internet. It is only 5mins from the metro, and 15minutes to the City centre. The best thing, return in the evening from a day in the very busy city, get off the metro and it is so peaceful.
Our favourite bit sitting on the balcony/terrace looking towards Tivoli in the mountains until sun goes down with a glass of chilled wine. SHEER BLISS!! Gino and Vincenzo have been so helpful from the first time we contacted them 2011. We hope to return 2013. Cant wait.

Fanstastic stay

We had a fantastic stay in the apartment, right from the collection at the airport. It is just a short distance to the tram and bus station so very convenient. The apartment is exactly as described by the owners and I would definitely recommend it to future travellers. We also used their transport to the airport which was very convenient.

Very nice apartment, literally 5 mins walk from the station. Gino very helpful, organising pick ups for my parents, apartment very clean, spacious and had everything we needed. Couldnt fault it
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
