Peaceful, comfortable with a beautiful view!

We, (my partner and I), visited this apartment in Septmeber 2008. The apartment is lovely and was very comfortable for the two of us, there were few others in the apartments at this time so we had the pool to our selves for several days. We loved the fact that it was very quiet and away from Milna, which was fairly quiet at this time of year anyway. I wouldn't recommend for 5 people unless you all got on exceptionally well but for us it was fantastic and the facilities were very good with enough cooking utensils etc. The property is up a very steep hill from Milna and the beach may only be 100m away but they are all steps so be aware! The walk into Milna is pleasant and takes about 15 -20 mins of gentle walking but the short hill at the property is a bit of a killer, especially with your shopping. It would also have been useful to know you need shoes you can swim in as getting into the sea was quite hard underfoot as the beach is very stoney - as they all are in Croatia. The directions from the property company were very good if arriving by car but think they would have been a bit baffling if we had decided to take the local bus to Milna. Traveling around from Milna was quite easy, buses, ferries etc were regular and on time but we did get a taxi to the apartment from Supetar on arrival, which was expensive but necessary. We also hired a car for a few days to really explore the island and to visit Split and Trogir.
Great place if you want to get away from it all but if you want to meet lots of British holiday makers, going in September may be too quiet for you. There were plenty of bars and restaraunts to choose from but don't expect much choice if you're vegetarian!
All in all we had a lovely holiday and the apartment was really nice, we would definately recommend it to friends and think about going again!
