Yet another gem in the bejewelled crown of Gozo

It has been once again, our delight to return to this wonderful island; each time, we have sought accommodation with 'that special edge'. To be fair, we've done pretty well over the years, but Raymond's fine house, is slap-bang in the sweet spot between quality & price.
Ta Mannani, is by far the cleanest villa in which we have stayed, its size is sufficient for any family, with access to a ground floor bedroom for those less able excursionists. The kitchen too, is well appointed, again with space to spare.
I particularly liked the free internet access - superb for checking restaurant menus, locations of attractions, mapping walks, writing reviews & publishing images.
The pool is a fair size & while the walled garden does limit the sun to a mere 6 or 7 hours a day(!), it does aid in preventing unwanted material from entering the scrupulously clean pool. The terrace around the pool also works well, with sufficient space around.
Further, when the sun dips beneath the Yardarm, there's always another hour to savour up on the roof where, incidentally, there is sufficient drying space for a full rugby squad's kit, so no problem drying those holiday clothes - pack light!
As if anyone needed to feel any more secure on Gozo, the property is tucked away behind a lockable wooden arched door, down an alley, just a few feet from the road & a few yards from the breathtaking views across the Gozo Channel from the Belvedere - go on, sit up there after the sun has done its bit, take with you a glass of your favourite Marsovin & greet the Gozitans as you would wish to be greeted, they'll pay you back in spades. Just try your hand at a little of their tongue, always raises a smile, even if one doesn't always get it quite right...
Top tip :- get a car, even better, a jeep. Stacks of fun on 'those roads'.
I'd recommend this villa to anyone & everyone.
So in summary:
A truly smashing house, in a great location, in a super village, on a magnificent island, with wonderful people who form a tremendous nation.

Owner's Response: It is always our pleasure to make our guests feel at home and enjoy Gozo and its people, and this time it looks like we have hit it right again. Jack and Rachel are one of the sweetest couples to have stayed at ta Mananni. Happy return to all our past guests and look forward to have new ones too! Thank you.
