Good location, beautiful view.
The manager who received us, did not take time for us to tell us about area, activities, shopping and cattering possibilities etc.( this information was missing in the apartment too).
She looked quite unfrendly, though we paid additionally for the coming on Sunday.
The last part of the road to the apartment (300 m) was very narrow, only for one car and in a bad condition.
The bed in the bedroom was very uncomfortable.
We were very suprised to find in the kitchen cuttlery for 3 persons only.
In our opinion this apartment was not a value for money.
Owner's Response: We are surprised to hear this guest complaint. We hold tourist brochures in our office plus local maps available for all guests. And we are always happy to answer any questions a guest asks about the area, amenities, eating out etc. My staff have worked for me some years and I've never had a complaint that they are unfriendly or unprofessional.
The local tourist office in the village also is a great source of information for guests, it is just 120m from the apartment.
Regarding the apartment, the guest made no complaints during her stay, naturally we would have supplied more cutlery if she needed them. We are sorry she found the bed uncomfortable. In the last 3 seasons of renting no guest has complained about the bed and none that stayed after her complained. The bed mattress is medium-hard in type.
It's true that a section of the access road to the apartment block is narrow, the villages on the island of Ciovo are very old in places and the roads often reflect this. We think it's part of the character and charm of the area. The access road is asphalt for 60m and rougher concrete for about 40m.
We are sorry this guest didn't raise her dissatisfaction with us during or even at the end of her stay as we would have been happy to correct those things we could. Throughout the past 3 seasons we have had only satisfied guests at this apartment. The location is great, the view from the balcony and pool terrace are outstanding and the apartment very tastefully decorated with all modern appliances.
