The photographs and the other reviews said it all really. Beautiful little cottage, spotlessly clean and very well equipped to a high standard with everything we needed. It was lovely being able to walk down the garden to the shore and to enjoy the peaceful walks and views. It was like having our own private hideaway. Craig and Louise were friendly and helpful - it was a pleasure to share their cottage. We hope we will be able to come again sometime.

Peace and Quiet

  • 5 of 5
There is lots to do in the surrounding area, and after a full day out it was lovely to come back to the peace and quiet of the chalet - not forgetting the beautiful scenery. Our grandson particulary enjoyed the garden swings and playing on the beach. Craig and Louise are extremely hospitable and were very helpful (especially when we turned up early!). Many thanks to both of them :)

A wonderful place to stay

  • 5 of 5
My wife and I have just had a brief stay here and it exceeded all our expectations. Such a beautiful and secluded spot and the chalet, which is very clean, has everything you need. We couldn't stop staring at the view over the water, and the oystercatchers standing still on the grass all facing the same way made us smile. Access is by your own drive, the car is parked adjacent to the chalet and is secure. Craig and Louise are very friendly and helpful but you are certainly private in the chalet. We will definitely be back and look forward to exploring the area in more detail.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your comments, we're pleased you had such an enjoyable stay, especially as the weather wasn't exactly perfect. We think that's the beauty of the place, as even in bad weather the view from the garden is always amazing, inspiring, and ever changing.
There's no such thing as good or bad weather, you've just got to wear the right clothes to appreciate it!

Peaceful beachfront gem

  • 5 of 5
The chalet is in the grounds of the owners' house, but is very private, with a secluded suntrap courtyard, and a stunning view over the sea and along the coast towards Anglesey. It was great to be able to walk directly out from the garden onto the beautiful almost-deserted beach. The location is very peaceful, away from the bustle of central Llandudno, but within an easy 5 minutes drive of the shops and restaurants, and the tram up the Great Orme. My teenage son had a brilliant time snowboarding and tobogganing at the Ski Centre.

The chalet is fairly small (ideal for a couple, although my son was comfortable on the sofabed in the living area), but was spotlessly clean and equipped to a very high standard throughout. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be back!

Being a Victorian seaside resort, Llandudno has something for everyone, being one of the most popular seaside destinations for over a hundred years. The town has developed to offer many more things. The Great Orme itself sits directly behind the property with it's cable car, tramway, copper mine and world famous wild Kashmir goats. Not to mention miles of walks with outstanding views.

Nearby are two golf clubs, sailing, horse riding, mountain walking and running, mountain biking, cinema, dry ski slope and local tourist attractions, the trams and cable cars in Llandudno, fantastic traditional and contemporary pubs and restaurants. The picturesque village of Betws Y Coed is only a 25 minute drive away and the Isle of Anglesey approx 20 minutes.

Llandudno is also only a 10 minute drive from the medieval walled town of Conwy; with it's castle, fishing quay, and many visitor attractions. It's also the gateway to the Snowdonia National Park.

Notes:
The garden is shared with the owners, however privacy is assured due to the location of the accommodation, layout and size of the garden. Access to the beach is directly at the bottom of the garden via a concrete ramp. Access onto the beach for the infirm or wheelchairs is possible, however tides affect the height of the beach at the bottom of the ramp which is also quite steep. There is a viewing pier overlooking the beach which would be perfect for wheelchair users. The beach is open to the public via West Shore, however very few venture to this location. Use of the beach and accessing it is at your own risk.
