Lower Oddington Cottage Rental Photos and Description

Beautiful Period Cottage with 3 bedrooms, 1 shower room and bathroom

Honeysuckle cottage is a beautiful period property in the idyllic Cotswolds village of Oddington. This picture postcard cottage is situated at the end of Church Lane two minutes walk from the historic 11th Century Church of St. Nicholas which holds candlelit services.

The accommodation is spread over 3 floors, downstairs there is a spacious lounge which is light and airy in the Summer and cosy and warm in the winter, with feature stone fireplace, wood burner and stone hearth and pretty window looking over onto the appealing garden. After a busy day exploring the Cotswolds unwind on the luxury two and three-seater leather sofa and enjoy watching the digital terrestrial TV and DVD. Chill out by enjoying some soothing music provided by a CD/radio and CD collection or have some fun reading the assortment of books and playing some traditional board games.

Just off the lounge is a kitchen breakfast room with dining table, which seats six and child’s chair. The superb modern fitted kitchen with Elm wood floor has granite work surfaces, oven with a 4 ring hob and extractor fan, washer/drier, dishwasher, fridge and freezer compartment and a full range of excellent cooking implements.

From the lounge stairs rise to the first floor landing where 3 spacious bedrooms can be found which have crisp cotton bed linen and have been accessorized with Laura Ashley fabrics and The White Company accessories which add that extra bit of luxury. The wonderful cottage feel landing has wooden doors with iron latches and one leads to a refreshing decorated double bedroom which has a delightful window overlooking the pretty front garden and far reaching views of the Cotswolds countryside.

Another door from the landing leads to a newly appointed family bathroom comprising bath with mix taps and spray attachments, washbasin and WC and the third door leads to a second delightfully designed bedroom with a double bed and newly fitted en-suite shower room. Childs cot is also provided.

From the landing, stairs go to the second floor and the third bedroom can be found which has two single beds.

The pretty garden provided a perfect haven for relaxing and an opportunity for al-fresco dining with garden table and chairs and a barbecue.

Cosy cottage with lots of extra touches

  • 5 of 5
Lovely cottage, very cosy and nicely positioned and beautifully presented. The beds were very comfortable, the bathrooms excellent and the kitchen was possibly my favourite bit with proper sharp knives, rolling pin, weighing scales, lots of cutlery and glasses and everything a cook loves - so much better than most cottages I have stayed in.

The welcome pack was great and very helpful to have all your essentials provided for you.

Fantastic pub just around the corner and lovely surrounding country side - would highly recommend this cottage.

WONDERFUL COZY COTTAGE

  • 5 of 5
Four of us had a wonderful week at Honeysuckle Cottage; pictures say it all. Fire in the fireplace each evening; visiting villages & pubs during the day and long walks in the area. Fox Inn, excellent restaurant and pub, only a few short steps away, made for a perfect day. Would go back tomorrow, if possible. Welcome basket contained coffee, tea, milk, OJ, eggs, bread; no rush to the grocery for supplies. House was well stocked with all the neccessary items and instructions on how to operate everything from washer to trash day. 5 stars

great stay

We had a very good time with our four children. The two bathrooms made life very easy. The children played outside in the little stream and the medieval church was a pleasant surprise.
