Relax in utter peace in our two bedroomed fully equipped house ,it is set in an unspoilt part of Southern France, on a south facing hillside on the edge of the Cevennes mountains with beautiful views of tree lined mountains all around,and a large terraced garden with a shaded barbecue area, with table and sunloungers provided for the alfresco dinning or just relaxing,also our large paved sun terraced. Local amenities are: resturant, bar, and tabac five minutes walk away and a supermarket five minutes drive away.Ales our local city has varity of good shops and resturants. The Cevennes is an ideal location for bird watchers and walkers alike.We are ideally situated for the mediterranean coast the Ardrche and Nimes with all its roman history.La Haute Levade is easily reached by local airports Nimes,Montpellier and Marsaille or TGV into Nimes or Euro star into Avignon,if you are driving it is approximatley ten hours from Calais.

Collias an ideal place for canoe hire were you can paddle down the river to Pont du Gard. Uzes,with its large provencal street market every Saturday and the haribo sweet factory and visitor center. Other places to vist Avigon,Arles,the Ardeche and the Millau bridge. Nimes, the Arena ,maison carree and a good shopping center.The Camargue wonderful beaches horse riding and bird life.Local market in La Grand Combe full of local produce held every Saturday. The Cevennes national park famous for its rugged beauty wild life and walks with over 1,800 kilometers of marked trails,paths and bridleways waiting to be explored.The Trabuc caves are among the most famous caves in Europe an ideal vist on a hot day.

  • Rental is from Sunday to Sunday but we can be flexible at certain times of the year.Change over times are leaving at 10am. and available at 4 pm. There is an additional £35.00 cleaning charge to be paid seperatly to the booking fee and a refundable £50.00 security charge.Our prices are from Sunday to Sunday ,Towels ,bed linen,and elctricty are included in our prices.The final payment together with the refundable £50.00 security charge is due 6 weeks before the letting.
    If full payment is not recieved by the due date we(the owners) may cacel the reservation.On any cancelation by the guest,the deposit will be retained and the guest will remain liable to pay the balance of rent unless we (the owners) are able to re-let the property.
    Guests are advised to arrange comprehensive travel insurance including cancellation cover at the time of booking.

Notes: Please note that our gite is the first floor appartment of our house,their are stairs leading to the balcony and the door to the appartment,if you have young children please be aware of this.Outside we have three large grassed terraces one with the barbecue and the secluded sun patio with sun loungers and tables .

At the top of the stairs to the appartment there is a terrace with a table and chairs. Inside the property there is a large kitchen, two Bedrooms, one has a double bed, wardrobe, and dressing table. Bedroomed two has two single beds and two sets of drawers, hairdryers are provided in each bedroom, the large comfortable lounge has a large settee, table and chairs, television with sky freeview and video recorder with a selection of videos for all ages. At the end of the hall is the shower room, toilet and wash basin. Each room has electric radiators if needed. Maps and local places of interest to visit all at the appartment for your disposal.
