This finely appointed turn of the century home offers the family or corporate gathering a private space with superb amenities. Located in the heart of the uptown district, close to the streetcar and French Quarter, you will find yourself immersed in the tropical ambiance of New Orleans. Renovated to perfection and offering all of the amenities of home for your comfort and relaxation while experiencing the Big Easy.

This beautiful home is offered as a vacation rental with the finest amentities. Sleeping for up to 22 people in the following configuration. First floor - 2 room suite with private bath, one queen bed, one single and one full bed with private entrance to verandah. Second floor: Jaune: Queen bedding, private bath, floor to ceiling plantation shutters that open to a balcony with seating area that is shared with the Burgundy room. Burgundy room has king sized plantation bed, private bath, sharing the balcony with Jaune and overlooks the pool. Jardin has 1 queen bed, private bath, Soleil, one queen and one single, private bath, and Chien Bleu, queen 4 poster antique pine bed and private bath, plus one single day bed.

Third floor suite offers a quiet room with vaulted ceilings, skylights, 2 adjoining rooms with queen bed, single bed, full bed and private bath.

Relax either poolside or on the front verandahs or simply savor the magnolia on the back deck. This property offers the finest in New Orleans living, completely updated and finely appointed with your comfort in mind. Perfect for a family gathering or a corporate retreat.

About Kim

We are avid preservationists; renovating and rehabbing New Orleans properties for 20 years. We are always looking for those homes that have fallen into disrepair, but have good bones to work with. Our joy is finding that our work has breathed new life into these homes, our neighborhood and our community.

Kim purchased this estate in 1993
Why Kim chose New Orleans

This property had originally been a single family home that had been converted to a 7 unit rooming house in the 40's. A fire had put the finishing touches to it. We knew within minutes of seeing it that it could be a incredible property if restored to it's original detail. Just one in thousands of homes with beautiful architectural detail rescued in our very unique city.

We loved staying at Beau Sejour and would definitely do so again. The house is magnificent and very well kept. The description and the photos in the website are very accurate. The rooms are ample and the living area is very comfortable. Kitchen area is great and it has a wonderful family room. The great hospitality offered by Kim and her husband to make you feel at home. Their personal touch and dedicated effort put in to make the guests feel at home is more than noticeable. The property is very well kept; it is clean, easily accesible to restaurants, French Quarter, stores, etc.
Thak you Kim for making sure the house looked beautiful for the rehearsal dinner we offered for my son's wedding. This was our home away from home.

What a fantastic way to experience New Orleans. 12 friends descended upon the city and Beau Sejour was a perfect way to house everyone -- super spacious and comfortable. The weather didn't cooperate for most of our stay, so we didn't get to spend much time by the pool and on the balcony, but the covered front porch was a popular spot. We cooked a huge celebration dinner one night and I think there were 14 of us around the dining room table, complete with tablecloth. The owners were responsive to our needs and questions. Great central location -- we would would stay here again in a heartbeat.

GREAT PLACE to stay!

My family and I had a great stay! We enjoyed the Uptown location. There were 2 very good restaurants within walking distance. Also, it is only a short walk to catch the trolley. Everyone enjoyed the house! It is a GREAT place to stay.

WONDERFUL WEDDING WEEK - AN EXCELLENT ADVENTURE !!

Our large family, (25 of us including 10 grandchildren) had a great week in this beautiful home that seemed to be meant for us. We were in New Orleans for our son's wedding. We loved, loved, loved the home.... the kids enjoyed the pool - we grilled poolside. We walked to the great neighborhood restaurants as well as the St. Charles trolley line to go to the Quarter. We had more than enough room in the home. It is described as 7 bedrooms, but two of them are suites with an additional bedroom. As a history buff, I can not tell you how much I enjoyed the high ceilings, stained glass and beautiful woodwork and hardwood floors - I felt like I had stepped back in time into another era. Thank you Kim & Gilles for letting us enjoy your magnificent home. Sincerely, a most appreciative Youngstown Ohio family

Just, wow.

So I booked this incredible house for a 15-person bachelor party from Austin, TX. After a very long all-day drive, we collectively walked in the front door and our jaws dropped. Let's just say the pics in this profile DO NOT DO IT JUSTICE - it's gorgeous, and way bigger than I thought it would be. When it says it sleeps 22, they mean it. The bedrooms are all huge, many of the 7.5(!) bathrooms are private, there's a great dining room and kitchen, a pool (which was a little too cold in January), and a nice grill which we took full advantage of. If you have a big group, this manse is simply perfect. And the price is really reasonable, and you'll know it the moment you walk in. And see a freakin harpsichord and winding staircase. Kim/owners were very straightforward and super easy to work with. Easy walks to local bars, great food, and the trolley. Can't say enough good things. Thanks!
