This finely appointed turn of the century home offers the family or corporate gathering a private space with superb amenities. Located in the heart of the uptown district, in a quiet neighborhood, close to the streetcar and French Quarter, you will find yourself immersed in the tropical ambiance of New Orleans. Renovated to perfection and offering all of the amenities of home for your comfort and relaxation while experiencing the Big Easy.

This beautiful home is offered as a vacation rental with the finest amentities. Sleeping for up to 22 people in the following configuration. First floor - 2 room suite with private bath, one queen bed, one single and one full bed with private entrance to verandah. Second floor: Jaune: Queen bedding, private bath, floor to ceiling plantation shutters that open to a balcony with seating area that is shared with the Burgundy room. Burgundy room has king sized plantation bed, private bath, sharing the balcony with Jaune and overlooks the pool. Jardin has 1 queen bed, private bath, Soleil, one queen and one single, private bath, and Chien Bleu, queen 4 poster antique pine bed and private bath, plus one single day bed.

Third floor suite offers a quiet room with vaulted ceilings, skylights, 2 adjoining rooms with queen bed, single bed, full bed and private bath.

We are avid preservationists; renovating and rehabbing New Orleans properties for 20 years. We are always looking for those homes that have fallen into disrepair, but have good bones to work with. Our joy is finding that our work has breathed new life into these homes, our neighborhood and our community.

Kim purchased this estate in 1993

Why Kim chose Central Business District

This property had originally been a single family home that had been converted to a 7 unit rooming house in the 40's. A fire had put the finishing touches to it. We knew within minutes of seeing it that it could be an incredible property if restored to it's original detail. Just one in thousands of homes with beautiful architectural detail rescued in our very unique city.

Big Easy

We all traveled far and wide to celebrate my Dad's 70th Birthday. A group of well traveled adults, who like their comforts...so everyone having their own bathroom was perfect. There were so many nice rooms and beds that sleeping arrangements were a breeze to work out. The location was super close to the trolley, and taxis were cheap and fast. The kitchen was well stocked and we really enjoyed our time here. The 13 of us hung out together in the back room just fine with some seat rearranging. The pool and patio were enjoyable, and even though I personally don't like air conditioning, it was quite nice and cool everywhere in the house.

Family Gathering

Our family met in New Orleans to celebrate Thanksgiving together. Kim, the owner, and her husband were very gracious. The house was stocked with everything we needed and more. It was a perfect location for a family gathering - children and adults. The location was perfect and the stay was enjoyable. It offered an opportunity for our family to have an holiday to always remember. We can't thank Kim and her husband enough for making this memorable occasion possible.

Comfortable and Classy, Great for Medical School Graduation Family Celebration

Family members of all ages got together to celebrate my daughter's medical school graduation, ages from 1 to 66. We also celebrated my birthday. The house was beautiful, comfortable and extremely spacious. The owner, Kim, met us there and was very gracious and helpful. We had rented a large van, but the house is very well located and not far from transportation on St Charles. The car fit perfectly in the parking area.We cooked in one night

and found everything we needed in the large kitchen. Would definitely recommend renting this house. We ended up being a party of 20 and were very comfortable.

Unforgettable Mardi Gras

This huge beautiful house could not have been more perfect for our Mardi Gras celebration. Kim was great and the location perfect. Plenty of space for 18 of us we could have had more. The house was clean beautifully furnished with comfortable beds and plenty of bathrooms.

Wedding Weekend

Amazing! Photos do not do it justice! I stayed here 3 nights and used the first 2 nights to prepare for a wedding on the third night. My fiance and I had all beds full (22 people) and there was plenty of space! The whole house is much bigger than photos suggest. Kim, the owner was very easy to talk and work with. She, graciously, allowed us to have the wedding ceremony at the house with 50 people. I had never been there before and was just hoping it would work. There was plenty of space for people to wonder and use the inside space as well as the pool area. I highly recommend staying here!! Blocks from the trolly ( a bit of construction right now) Superior seafood and pascal's next door were delicious!

New Orleans Uptown Charmer

Our hostess was very accommodating and quick to respond to queries regarding booking and suggestions for local activities and restaurants. The house was as-advertised. A charming, but huge 3-story house, nicely appointed in a convenient location, just 4 blocks from the St. Charles trolley line. Much nicer than staying in the French Quarter.

The house worked well for our group of 9 guys, with plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. With the trolley and taxis, we didn't need rental cars at all. Everything went smoothly, and I can recommend Beau Sejour as a a very nice place to stay with a large group.
