Set in ancient olive groves for a relaxing and peaceful holiday Villa Ariadne offers luxury and comfort. The house is light and airy and all rooms are double aspect so that you can enjoy the lovely views. The Villa has three balconies and a large verandah. You will find all the comforts of home to enjoy in a relaxing and peaceful environment. Large 10m by 4.5m pool for all the family to enjoy with easy access Roman steps, outdoor pool shower, a hot tub jacuzzi, mature gardens with palm and olive trees, shrubs and flowers, patios, shaded area and electric gated entrance to the property. Close by is the charming and friendly village of Gavalochori with all facilities- 3 tavernas coffee sweet shop bakery and minimarkets. There are beaches at Almerida and Kalives with ample choice of restaurants, coffee shops and bars for your enjoyment.

The backdrop of the White Mountains the olive groves and hilltop village of Douliana provide the wonderful scenery. Gavalohori has three tavernas,a gift shop,the womens lace cooperative, small supermarkets and a bakery and it is a lovely traditional Greek village with friendly people. Watersports are available at Almirida beach. Scuba diving in Chania. Horseriding in Georgeopoli. There are many walks in the area to enjoy plus plenty of birds. The sandy beaches at Almirida and Kalives are nearby and have all facilities tavernas coffee bars, beach bars supermarkets, chemists. Nightlife can be found in Almerida with its numerous bars, Greek tavernas english run restuarants and cafes. Enjoy Chania with its Venetian Harbour and wonderful old side streets for a coffee or meal.. There are museums, a superb indoor market and many shops to browse in. A beautiful city with a great buzz and numerous coffee shops to sit and watch the world go by.

    A FREE welcome basket is provided including wine and olive oil from the olive trees in the Villa's gardens.

    Your villa is available from 4pm when you arrive and is yours until 10.am on your departure day. If needed other times can be arranged. A 20% deposit is required when booking and the balance is due 8 weeks prior to your arrival date.
    Changeover day is Tuesday for charter flights to Chania (35 minutes drive). Flights to Heraklion (2 hour drive) by charter or scheduled - BA/Easyjet from Gatwick & Manchester & Jet2 from Leeds/Bradford, east midlands.
    Aegean ( Greek) airline flies from Heathrow to Chania.

Villa Ariadne is a luxury detached villa. All balconies have stunning views of the White Mountains and the open countryside. The house is very comfortable with full airconditioning included in the price. The gardens carport and pool are on the same level around the house making it easy for access. The open plan lounge and kitchen are upstairs with two balconies. On the first floor you will also find the master bedroom with a king size English Divan ,fully fitted wardrobes, vanity mirror and dressing table, stylish voiles and french doors to a balcony plus a large shower room. The two twin-bedded bedrooms are downstairs and have a large terrace and/or balcony and large family bathroom. This arrangement is ideal for families or couples sharing who require some privacy as they can sleep on separate floors. All windows and doors are double glazed with shutters in white aluminium. The lane outside the villa is a quiet one and leads to Gavalohori Square in 7 minutes by foot

There is large covered area (pagoda) with a table and chairs , open patio and well planted gardens, sunbeds. umbrella and BBQ. . FREE welcome basket plus loo rolls, tissues and liquid hand soap included. A bottle of our estate organic extra virgin olive oil is included. Safety deposit box. The owners live in the adjacent villa and are happy to give their help and support to welcomed guests if required : the villas are mirror imaged with the large carport inbetween them. The balconies do not overlook each other. There are no immediate neighbours to overlook the villas or the pool. Guests have exclusive use of the pool during their holiday and are welcome to use all the gardens and seating areas.
