The apartment itself, is spacious and modern in its design and has been tastefully furnished throughout with all fittings being of the highest quality. Megas Alexandros represents a rare opportunity to be close to all amenities yet also be within an idyllic and tranquil holiday complex in central Kato Paphos. This ground breaking new development in the Tomb of the Kings area is situated just a short stroll to Tomb of The Kings Road where all main amenities, bars and restaurants can be found. The complex is intimately designed with character throughout and all apartments benefit from the wonderfully designed semi-circular pool area which is decorated by palm trees, rockery and wooden bridges with stainless steel balustrades. Other high quality specifications include, controlled and secure entrance to Underground car parking, door entry systems, elevator to all floors, marble staircases/landings and communal changing rooms and showers.

The apartment has been equipped as a home and all the little extras make a big difference. On entering this ground floor apartment, you pass the fully equipped kitchen to your right and move into the main living areas. The kitchen's fitted units are accompanied by matching work surfaces, tiled splashbacks and stainless steel handles. Appliances include fridge/freezer, washing machine, oven, hob and hood and microwave. From the kitchen you enter the spacious and open plan lounge/dining area. The dining table seats 4, as does the lounge which has very comfortable leather sofas. The lounge has further benefit of TV with satellite and DVD for entertainment.

Access from the lounge can be gained through full width patio doors to a generously sized terrace which in turn leads out to the tropical pool area. The south facing terrace features a table and chairs to seat 4 as well as 4 sun loungers for further relaxation, and overlooks the pool area and Mediterenean Sea in the distance.

Shade can be gained as required making the area being the perfect place for alfresco dining, relaxing, socialising and generally soaking up the warm Cyprus sunshine.

The property has 2 double sized bedrooms, both with fitted wardrobes. The master bedroom has a large double bed and en-suite facilities that includes large cubicle with shower, wc and w/h basin. The second bedroom has 2 single sized beds and close access to the central shower room. Between the 2 bedrooms is the aforementioned luxurious and fully tiled shower room with shower, tray, wc and w/h basin. The property is fully air-conditioned with ceiling fans having been fitted throughout. There are also electric background heaters for further comfort in Winter Evenings. Shutters and flyscreens are present on all windows, assisting privacy, security and keeping the apartment dark and cool as required. A supply of fresh drinking water is supplied to the apartment and the water is heated by solar panels. Wi-Fi Included

This ideally situated holiday apartment is set in an enviable position just off one of the main thoroughfares in Kato Paphos. Although in a quiet spot, it is within easy walking distance of the essential amenities at Tomb of The Kings Road and the seafront, as well as being only a 10 minute walk to the famous 'Old Town' of Paphos where you will find the municipal markets as well as a large selection of shops, cafes restaurants and other points of interest. Although many great eateries are within walking distance, there is a small Taverna/Bar called Apanemo just outside the development where you will receive a warm welcome from the owner.

Paphos combines ancient history with a cosmopolitan, modern tourist resort. The area by the coast is known as Kato Paphos and boasts a pretty little harbour and plenty of open air cafes and bars. Further inland is the aforementioned old town of Paphos, known by the locals as Ktima.

"The property was perfect for us, clean, spacious, a huge selection of dvds which we were glad of , and our own private patio area. We thought the location was good, minutes away from the main street and walking distance to the old town, it was perfect for getting around on the local buses too. There were many good restaurants close to the apartment, we prefered eating in the local places, we tried many recommended in the visitors guide. very satisfied with your service, no question went unanswered. Very satisfied with local manager, never had any problems but were reassured to know that John smith was just a phone call away.''

"My husband and I, together with our friends the Wallis's, have had good holidays together before but our lovely apartment at Megas Alexandros made this holiday special. The apartment is exceptionally well-appointed and up-to-date, very convenient for the pool and with it's own spacious and well-furnished patio area. We also found the arrangements for the keys very useful.

Although situated on the outskirts of town, it was only a few minutes' walk to the nearest supermarket, taverna, bus stop and to the old town with its cafes and market. It was also very peaceful, the only disturbance being the arrival of the icecream van promptly at 1430 each afternoon! It might be worth mentioning in the Details Folder that a single trip anywhere on a bus costs only one euro until 2330 when it increases to 2.50 euros and that taxis around town cost only 8 euros. There is no need to hire a car.

We made several trips to Coral Bay (by 615 bus which ran until 0130) with its lovely beach and good entertainment. We liked the Millenium Bar and Hector's Bar for live music and Corellas Restaurant especially.

Service from both the Agent and local representative could not have been bettered. Arrangements to be collected from the airport went smoothly (lovely Andreas was waiting for us on arrival with cold drinks ready in his taxi) and my deposit has already been refunded and is on it's way back into my account. On site, John Smith called in to check that all was well and was on hand to deal with a problem which arose with the air conditioning.

I have no objections to you using any of my comments, as well as my name and location (although I would really rather keep this gem of a holiday private!) and look forward to contacting you again in the future..''

"The apartment was very spacious and well looked after. We were more than satisfied. The proeprty is in an excellent location, within 300-400 yards to the main strip. No need for taxi's or buses to get to the bars and restaurants. Only 300-400 yards to the Tomb of the Kings. We would recommend Tramps Bar, Ben's Bar and the Irish pub for drinks. The restaurants are all of a similar nature where they offer a 3 course meal for a set price, but a couple stood out, namely Raffles and an Italian restaurant opposite the Irish pub bar, the name of which escapes me! We were more than satisfield with the service provided by Letrentonline. A very professional service. The property manager was excellent, very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We were very grateful and would like to thank him (John) and his family who were very welcoming. There were no issues to report regarding this property whatsoever.''

"We have just spent 2 relaxing weeks at the Megas Alexandros Apartments. I can honestly say that It was one of the best apartments we have ever stayed in. It was truly a home from home. From the initial enquiry through to the returned deposit everything went very smoothly. The booking agent was extremely helpful with every request and we had a visit from the owner soon after we arrived to make sure all was well. The situation of the apartments suited us since we enjoyed the walk uphill to the Old Town as well as the saunter down to the restaurants on Tomb of the Kings Road. The buses are excellent value to take you to the harbour or visit Coral Bay. I think previous reviews have already said everything we already thought. Visit The Devonshire Restaurant for an excellent meal and then saunter round the corner to Paddy's Bar and say hello to Ellen for us. We hope to return one day and do it ourselves. Thanks for all your help''

We Liked it!

We've really enjoyed our stay at Megas- Alexandros! We could find the appartment easy with the good route discription you gave us. The appartment was very nice! The information we found with restaurant-tips and so on was handy, but the info was a bit old at some points. The discription on the website about the appartment was 100% true. We liked the people on Cyprus very much, the are all very friendly. Every morning we bought our breakfast at the supermarket near the appartment, the owners are so nice! We went twice to the harbour were we had dinner at The Seagull, a taxi-driver reccomended it. We liked it! Overall: it was a fantastic holiday! Thank you.
And maybe we'll be back.
