About the apartment: Very tastefully furnished with all bed linen and towels included (except beach towels). Sleeps 4. Bedroom 1 = ensuite double bed. Bedroom 2 = twin room. Lounge / Diner again with patio doors to private terrace and pool views. Terrace table and 4 chairs. Washing machine, fridge freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, hob, iron and ironing board.
About the Complex and area: Situated just a few mins walk from the old town (450m). Outdoor children's pool. Outdoor adults pool with large marble sun bathing terrace sun loungers, and parasols. Jacuzzi massage pool. Fitness gym. Superb restaurant/bar and poolside tables and chairs (seasonal). Ornate gardens. Games room. Lovely artificial waterfall. Airport transfers can be arranged. The resort itself is full of restaurants, shops and little boutiques, as well as various agencies providing tours to different historic events, such as Pamukkale and Ephesus.
There is a new water park (10 minutes ride outside the resort on a dolmus).
It has a host of pools, slides, and wave machines catering for all the family. There are resort dolmuses (mini bus) that pass nearby the complex every few minutes (450m), and take you around the resort for around 40p. There is the old town, with many fine traditional good value Turkish restaurants, serving a huge selection of Turkish cuisine, as well as little streets full of various shops, as well as a huge Saturday market where all the locals shops for fruit/veg, crafts, materials, shoes, clothes, spices. Altinkum is a resort where most of the restaurants offer a courtesy pick up and drop off service if you eat at their restaurant.
