Hafod Grove is centuries old, the kitchen has such thick walls and was the original croft area in total more or less. Greatly enlarged in the Georgian style either during in late 18th or early 19th century. It was then 'modernised' in more or less it's current form by one of the Colby family who owned large tracts of land in the area, Colby Gardens South of the County are open to the public. Hafod Grove is in a wonderful setting a marvellous base for families and groups to explore or just relax in the garden and soak up the ethos of this lovely old place.
Children just love playing hide and seek in the rambling grounds and mysterious house.
