We are right next door to the Redstone Marketplace which makes it easy to walk over and enjoy dinner and a movie.

About The Owner

Four military retirees, we fell in love with this village way back in the 1980's We never forgot the alluring charm of this quaint historic mining town and the white powder skiing.

The Owner purchased this townhome in 2010

Why The Owner chose Kimball Junction

After many years of skiing around the world (Europe and Japan) we were drawn back to Park City by fabulous memories of terrific daytime skiing and spectacular nightlife!

What makes this townhome unique

A little less light of foot these days, we were inspired by the convenience of everything! The village shopping and dining, its energy and nightlife make it the best location for a perfect Park City vacation. Enjoy!

what a nice stay

  • 5 of 5

Kathi, thank you for a wonderful vacation. Your condo was much nicer than the pictures show. We spent a lot of social time in the marvelous kitchen and dining area, we just found it very comfortable. The living room is a perfect place to relax with the 3 recliners plus couch. In fact our daughter from SLC stayed one night and said the pull-out was the most comfortable she had ever slept on. We really enjoyed the walk to Redstone for restaurants and grocery. We did not take advantage of the bus service since parking at the resorts was much easier than we thought, just get there early. Marti's in Redstone did a great job on our ski's also. The nice thing is, I don't have to search for places any more, we will just check your availability. Thanks again, The Cathey's.

Great condo in a great location

  • 5 of 5

We have been traveling to Utah and Park City each winter for close to a decade. This is by far the nicest condo we have stayed in. The pictures do not do the condo justice, as the layout is much bigger than you would expect. The condo was very clean, warm, inviting, and has everything you would need for your stay. The location was great - 10 minutes to Park City Mountain Resort, 3 minutes to Canyons, and downtown Salt Lake within 20 minutes. We even went skiing at Alta, which wasn't a bad drive at all. We actually found ourselves checking to see if any adjacent units were for sale we liked it so much.

The only thing I would recommend for the property is a humidifier. The condo is very dry. As in other reviews, the garage is great, but not having door openers was a bit of a pain. I understand why they aren't available, but the keypad was very tricky to get the door to open/close.

Will definitely stay here again on another visit.

More than expected

  • 5 of 5

This condo gets an "A" rating from us!! We have rented several times in Park City but this was the first in the Redstone Area.

The condo was more than we expected from the 1st entry to the garage to the last quiet peaceful night there. It was very very clean, well decorated and bigger than pictures here make it look. I will list the points that we liked first...

Nice size, very clean, garage attached, comfortable beds, decorated nice, plenty of comfortable seating, kitchen and dinning area separate from living room, kitchen nice sized and all you need there, large dining table with TV view, front porch for seating, very quiet neighborhood, friendly neighbors, great snow removal, sidewalk clearing and salting, open stairway and high ceilings in living area made room feel huge, switch on wall for instant gas fireplace, all seats in living room recline, plenty of coat hooks, plenty of storage shelves for ski gloves helmets etc, lighting from lamps to bright lights for reading, 1/2 bath downstairs, laundry room, ceiling fans, easy entry/exit process, heated drive, kitchen island/counter space, close to a lot of places to eat and get supplies,

Really so much good things to list.

Now for things that we did not care for and we are being really picky to find any but no place is perfect. So, here are a few... The 2nd bedroom a bit small, the condo is a bit too far to walk in ski attire to free bus stop, the bedrooms become too hot from the heat rise from 1st floor so must vent with windows, no humidifiers, no boot dryers, no garage door opener to take in car (must key code on doorway each time), limited views, and the slowest coffee maker on the planet (

(lol)

As you can see from above, this is a great condo for renting on a snow trip and you have to get pretty picky to show it is not perfect. We really enjoyed this place and being close to a lot but still very quiet, peaceful, and surrounded by nice friendly neighbors. If the owners did just a very few little details to this place (humidifiers, boot dryers, remotes for garage, a new coffee maker for sure, front porch heater) this place would be A+ but it is a very strong A just the way it is.

Going skiing and need a place to stay?? If this meets your bedding needs and it is available.... Rent it!! You will be glad you did just like we were!!!

Thanks to the owners for letting us enjoy your beautiful place, acknowledging our professions, and for trusting us with our special request.
