A brand new villa complete with swimming pool, built to a high spec standard and set in large landscaped gardens. The property is tastefully furnished and very spacious. Only a minutes walk from the sea. Located in the beautiful and prestigious Atlantic Shores area, the property benefits from a safe and friendly neighborhood. Barbados Golf Club is just 5 minutes drive away, the airport is 10 minutes and the world renowned Windsurfing and Kite surfing Club Mistral, is just 5 minutes drive. Consisting of 3 double air-conditioned bedrooms (the master with En suite) and a family bathroom. Downstairs is open plan and airy with TV and DVD, a fully fitted kitchen, with washing machine, drying machine, cooker & microwave. A very breezy veranda looks out over pool area and the landscaped gardens. Maid service is provided twice weekly.

The property is located in a quiet, safe and secure, area behind gates, on the south of the island, in one of the most prestigious areas of Christ Church, Barbados. From the windows and front of the house beautiful ocean views can be enjoyed. A minutes walk takes you to the nearest beach, and a 20 minute walk or 3 minute drive takes you to the famous fish market town of Oistins, where Supermarkets, bars and souvenir shops are located, along with a bank and other facilities. The popular, St Lawrence Gap is a 10 minute drive or taxi ride, where lively nightlife and numerous restaurants can be found. As you will see from the map to the left, Grantly Adams International Airport is conveniently close.

I spent Christmas here with my 7 year old, who had a blast in the pool, and even had a pool party with her friends. I spent more time in the jacuzzi.

The apartment is spacious and newly furnished. Great for large festive dinners. Neighborhood is peaceful, and you have access to two beaches -- one small (not swimmable, but certainly romantic, less than 2 minutes by foot) and another larger one that is great for fishing and swimming (20 minutes by foot). Another perk is its proximity to Oistins, where fresh fish is served on several outdoor grills every night.

Well worth a second stay. Thank you Tim.

My husband and I spent 10 wonderful days at Kites January 26th -Feburary 8, 2009. it is our 4th visit to Barbados and our first stay at Kites. We were very pleased the property was everything and more as described on the HomeAway site. The interior is very spacious and the furnishings extremely comfortable and tastful. The very large side by side fridge/freezer is perfect for despensing cold water and lots of ice. Due to the warm ocean breeze and placement of the windows we found it very comfortable for sleeping at night and only required the air conditioner twice.
The villa location is perfect. 10 minutes from the airport in a quite residential area. A 5 minute drive to one of the best beaches in Barbados, Miami Beach where the water is a beautiful blue and turquoise and very calm for swimming. A 10 minute drive from Oistins, a small fishing village with many conveniences such as a grocery store, 2 gas stations and a Kentucky Fried Chicken if you are so inclined. Ten minutes further takes you to “The Gap” which has numerous hotels and restaurants and more beaches.
There is a perfect small secluded beach a 2 minute walk from the Villa. We never saw anyone else on the beach. If you stand on the front porch looking towards the ocean you will see a stand of palm trees, this is where the beach is. The views of the ocean are wonderful from the front of the house and the side and back gardens are full of beautiful colourful flowers which attract Humming Birds.
We spend many days in the back yard on the extensive back porch or in the lawn chairs in the sun by the pool.
We would recommend a car and take advantage of exploring the island as it has much to offer. Barbados is beautiful and the people very friendly and always willing to help if you get lost, and you will, but it is part of the adventure. Be sure to visit Mount Gay Rum Factory, the prices are a fraction of what you will pay in the grocery store. One day we splurged and purchased two 2 lb lobsters from “Lobster Alive” in Bridgetown. It is a Restaurant right on the beach or you can take out. They cooked them and split them and we brought them home and enjoyed them for dinner on the patio. Sooo delicious.
Friday nights there is a Fish Fry in Oistins which we highly recommended.
A wonderful vacation, we would recommend Kites to anyone and we would definitely rent it again.

The villa was just lovely. The garden was gorgeous and the plunge pool just looked lovely all lit up at night. The villa was located nicely in a sought after area. The beach was 5 minutes walk and was absolutely gorgeous. Surfing was about 5 minutes in the car at Zeds Surfing School - which is highly recommended, fishing wasn't too far away either. The villa was clean and nicely laid out. Thank you for renting this villa on such short notice, We had a wonderful time.
