'LE NOSTALGIQUE' is ideally located in the heart of Cannes, the 'Carré d'Or'. It perfectly suits business people since walking distance to the 'Palais des festivals' (Congress & exhibition center) is only 3min, the sea as well as to the most well known shopping street 'rue d'Antibes' being only 30sec away! Everything is reachable within less then 10min walking distance: 5 star hotels, exclusive stores like Louis Litton, Cartier, Rolex and Fred, restaurants, cinemas, night clubs, public as well as private beaches, the old port and the old town. The apartment is on the 2nd floor (there is a lift) and has 2 balconies and 1 terrace on which you can enjoy your meals. The living room balcony has a partial sea view. LE NOSTALGIQUE is very bright and is equipped with air conditioning through out. We also have a baby-bed and high chair. It also has its own secure underground parking = 10.-E per day. A concierge is present most times.

Best location in Cannes! No car needed since 'everything' is within 10min walking distance. Take the airport bus from Nice or come by train. Then walk for 10min from the bus / train station to the flat. Cannes is famous for its film festival and it's very mild climate with blue sky most of the year. It is ideal for holiday since beaches are all sand and very close to the apartment. There are great restaurants near by and a beautiful promenade. During the months of July and August above the sea of Cannes, at least 5 magnificent fireworks (sound + music) are presented each year. The romantic old town of Mougin is within 15min drive and the 'Esterel' mountains are great for hiking. Most well known actors are coming to the city during mid May. Cannes is also famous for its congresses and exhibitions. Where else could you sit in your business suit at the beach for lunch and return to the flat for a quick shower? By train: 40min to Nice, 1hrs to Monaco and Italy!

    Rental payments should be made via bank transfer or Euro cheque.

    A cash security deposit of 350.- Euro is required and will be returned to you on day of departure if apartment has been left in good condition.

    Departure cleaning & laundry during holiday is 150.-E (cash on arrival)
    Daily cleaning can be arranged for an extra cost: 3hrs = 50.-, change of bed linen + towels: 20.- p/bed, p/person.
    Departure cleaning cost is included during congress rentals (if minimum weekly rent is: 1500.-E).

    Secure underground parking is available.
    Cost: 10.-E per day

    Outgoing only French national calls. Incoming: any international calls.
  • We do prefer at least 1 week bookings but we are flexible.

  • The bathroom has 1 sink, 1 bidet and 1 bath in which you can have showers. There is direct access to one of the balcony. re drying your laundry: we do have a cloth 'tower' to dry your laundry on. Also cloth pegs, iron and iron board. Laundry dryes very quickly on the balconiy.

  • All beds and sofa bed are brand new: February 2007. Only quality material used. All 4 single beds are 90cm wide and 2meters long. Usual French standard length is 1.90m. We can accommodate tall people! All beds can be converted into double beds. The sofa bed is in the living room. It is 140cm wide and also 2meters long. The sofa bed is a small double, best for 1 person or 2 small children who do not need much space...Its mattress is 15cm thick which makes this convertible very comfortable. The apartment is mostly used by business men. This is why we have opted for single beds rather then doubles. There is direct access from master bedroom to one of the 3 balconies. We also have a 'deluxe' baby bed with integrated music, light and vibration mode as well as integrated changing table and bag (nappies, oils, creams ect.).

Notes: Please know that another apartment 'L'AZUR' 60m2 (same lay-out with 4 single beds and 1 sofa bed) is available in the same street. Please check property ref: 97430. Both apartments can be rented out 'together'. Total sleeping capacity: 11. Walking distance between both apartments: 1 min. LE NOSTALGIQUE: We do have plastic cutlery (plates + cups). We also have 1 high chair for a child up to 2 years as well as a brand new baby travel cot. This fashionable cot has integrated music, a changing table plus a bag hanging to its side (for baby oils, nappies etc.) Re smoking: Should people feel an urgent need to smoke, this can be done on the balconies (there are 3!). Please DO NOT SMOKE inside the apartment since all is new and smelling good! We have a brand new Samsung LCD 17inch wall mounted flat screen in the living room (all UK and French national channels) There also is a stereo system and wireless internet. We have a secure underground parking: 10.-E per day

Guest comments: We booked LE NOSTALGIQUE for 2 weeks during the Film Festival and really appreciated the space and the proximaty to the cogress hall. We also appreciated the big flat screen TV and the good wireless internet connection. And since LE NOSTALGIQUE is so nicely decorated with pictures of film stars, we invited clients to our place for a glass of champagne. Everybody was delighted and we wish to book again next year. Nous revenons pour la 2ème fois. L'entreprise de mon mari avait loué LE NOSTALGIQUE pour le MIDEM en Janvier 2008. L'appartement avait tellement plu a mon mari qu'ils nous a proposé d'y passer des vacances en famille. Donc nous sommes revenue pour les vacances de Paques avec nos enfants agés de 5 et 10ans. Effectivement, nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'espace et la décoration et surtout la clareté du LE NOSTALGIQUE. D'avoir son propre garage sous l'immeuble était aussi un grand avantage. Pas fascile de trouver des places à Cannes. Nos enfants ont adorés la proximités des plages. LE NOSTALGIQUE est effectivement idéale que ça soit pour des hommes d'affaire (3min du Palais des Festivales) ou pour des familles. Nous reviendrons c'est promis.

L'appartamento era molto curato e pulito con tutti i comfort,la proprietaria e suo marito sono stati sempre gentili e disponibili. Inoltre la posizione dell'appartamento era perfetta in quanto al centro di Cannes quindi vicino a qualsiasi cosa servisse. Siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti!

LE NOSTALGIQUE is unique, really. It has been very well furnished and with a lot of taste. The theme is "Cannes and its stars", great idea.
The apartment is bright and spotless. We came for the LIONS congress and invited our new contacts to our apartment as it was so central and also to "show off"...
We will definately come back for a holiday. This place is great for friends sharing but also for families with teenagers or small kids. No car is needed since one can't be more central. Thanks Irene for your very warm welcome. We will be back! Dani and Andrea from Montreux, Switzerland

Clean, well managed and very good value with excellent furniture. Both bedrooms and lounge/diner are spacious and really nice. The bathroom needs a bit of updating, but it is acceptable. Kitchen good and nice balconies.
Good position, very close to sea front, has garage and air con works well, so with windows shut at night, noise is not a problem. Highly recommended. Evelyn + Tom Brown, Switzerland
We had a wonderful stay in Irene’s apartment, which is ideally situated for everything one could possibly want for a holiday – absolutely no need to use a car, yet having the knowledge that the car is safe and sound in the secure car park. The accommodation is stylish, bright and spotlessly clean with the added benefit of very comfortable beds. We will definitely contact you for our next holiday in Cannes. Die Gastfreundschaft und kompetente wie freundliche Betreuung der Vermieterin hat uns sehr viel Freude bereitet. Nach nunmehr 14 Jahren Cannes im Frühling haben wir die gute Lage dieser Wohnung besonders geschätzt. Zum Wohlfühlen hat in erheblichem Masse die offenbar von der Vermieterin vor Jahresfrist selbst hochwertig eingerichtete Wohnung beigetragen. Das Thema der EInrichtung "Filmfestspiele" passt hervorragend zu Cannes. Als Wohlfühlfaktoren sind zudem die Helligkeit der Räume, die vollständige uns sehr ordentliche Ausstattung mit Möbeln und Geschirr, die zueinander passende Einrichtung sowie der gepflegte Standard zu erwähnen. Auch wären noch die Nähe zu Bäcker, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Strand, die windgeschützten, gut nutzbaren Sonnenbalkone und Terrassen mit den vorhandenen Sitzmöglichkeiten und Liegen zu nennen. Dank der Doppelglasscheiben konnte man trotz des Stadtverkehrs gut schlafen.
Wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt und können die Wohnung uneingeschränkt empfehlen
