Apartment in Attica, Greece: Athens - The capital of Greece and the centre of business and cultural activity. The first floor apartment is located in the centre of Athens, on the slopes of Lycabetous hill. It is only 1000 meters away from the National Museum and two kilometres, or four underground stations with the METRO, away from the Parthenon and the Olympic Zeus temple. You can have daily excursions to Delphi, Temple of Poseidon (cape Sounion), ancient Corinth, Epidaurous, Olympia and numerous other sites that are one or two hours away from the apartment. One can even fly anywhere in Greece (mainland or islands) and be back the same night!!!

The Apartment: The apartment is on the first floor of a small three-floor building and it is accessible from the street both by stairway and elevator (lift). It is ideal for business people, due to its central location, as well as for families that want to discover Athens and the surrounding area with day trips. The nearest Metro Station (ABELOKIPI STATION) is only 700 meters away and the train from there will take you to SINTAGMA SQ. in four minutes time.

Athens: Athens is not only the capital of Greece. It is the cultural centre where all types of cultural activities take place. The Parthenon, the Erechthion and the Propylaia built 2.500 years ago on the hill of the Acropolis are only few of the finest architectural examples of our ancient civilisation. The old town (Plaka) situated on the foot of the Acropolis hill is a must to stroll around during the day or at night. There are numerous museums from pre-historic to Byzantine and contemporary art.

The Area: Athens greater area, with the population of 4.000.000 people, is surrounded by mountains on the three sides and on the forth by the sea. From the near by harbors (Piraeus and Rafina) you can go to all the Greek islands by boat or, even easier, you can fly there and be back at the same night

This apartment worked very well for our family of four. It's very spacious, neat and clean. The Metro, buses, grocery store and restaurants were all convenient. We loved walking around the residential neighborhood and we enjoyed having our breakfast on the terrace each morning. The owners were welcoming and helpful upon our arrival. We would definitely recommend this apartment to our friends and would be happy to stay here again ourselves. For us it was not a problem, but it's worth noting that the apartment building is at the top of a long, steep hill. August 2009

The owners were very helpful both before and during the stay. The apartment is large, clean, and comfortable. The location is close to public transport. The price was very reasonable for what we got. The wireless connection worked great. The grocery is close, and so is a wonderful bakery. This is a good choice for an extended stay.
