Sugar Hill Vacation Rental apartment: Sugar Hill Resort

The apartement was fantastic very luxuriouse,and the rooftop terrace and jacuzzi a real bonus.The maid came in three times a week and certainly gave the place a good going over,The pool was visible from the flat and the kids loved it,the whole place was very quiet almost too good to be true.There is a very good restaurant on the complex however it is only open lunchtimes and wednesday and Friday night,but the food is superb and they do a good quality childrens menu.
You are situated midway along the west coast,the development is a little way up the hill which means it is very quiet and relaxing but still very close to all the good restaurants and beaches that St James has to offer.
The added bonus was the membership of the beach club and spa at Mullin beach.The most comfortable bed chairs in the world,and that mid morning iced flannel was sublime,the restaurant at mullins is also very good for lunch and again provides a good quality childrens menu.
The Island still has some of the best beaches in the world although there has been an awful lot of development over the 17 years I have been going to Barbados.
Crane beach is still a must and there is certainly a lot more to do down there now.
Swimming with Turtles is also great fun however you dont need to do an organised trip just go to Paynes bay and you can swim out from the beach,my 7 year old loved it,just wait till the tourist boats come in and swim out to join them!!
The food is still pretty good in most places even if prices are starting to get a little high.
The Tides was our allround favorite followed by sassafras which is in the complex,The lone star still has a fantastic setting and a great vibe but the food is starting to slip a little,The cliff has priced itself out of our budget but used to be great.
We had a great time and I wouldnt hesitate in recommending this apartement.The complex is immaculate and all the staff very friendly.
The only downside was my children had to sleep together in a double bed not a huge problem as the are 10 and 7 however it will become an issue in the future,and the master bedroom could do with some proper curtains as it gets light early and the sunshine woke us up every morning at around 6.We are looking forward to going back as soon as we can and we are trying to organise friends and family to come with us.
