1 Week in paradise

We just returned from a fantastic week in Playa. One important factor in the success of our trip was the luxury of Casa Milagro. The house is a work of art exhibiting international design elements from the Far East to Central America. The owner’s attention to the artistic is only matched by her understanding of the importance of modern conveniences. Free internet phone service, satellite TV, WiFi, and a high quality sound system, are some of the amenities that made our stay a step above what we typically experience from vacation rentals. The beds were very comfortable which made for restful sleeping. The property manager Patty was incredibly professional, nothing was left to chance with her help. Playacar is essentially a private community of luxury homes. If you want to experience what is like to be a millionaire, this is the rental for you. Playa Del Carmen is a wonderful place, we walked from the house to 5th Ave, the main shopping area every evening for food and fun. The beach is world class with cool soft sand. Prices are reasonable everywhere. Tours of local Eco partks are highly recommended. As far as safety in Mexico, here in Playa we never felt anything but completely safe and comfortable. Security is visible everywhere and frankly the people are so warm and welcoming that you quickly feel that you belong here. The tourist crowd here is very international which made for interesting conversations. The entertainment varies from quiet cafes to Vegas style night clubs and everything in between. The shopping opportunities range from high end desinger clothing and jewelry to children selling bracellets. If you want to cook for yourself Walmart has everything you need and the cabs are right there waiting to help you home with your groceries. Use the local ATMs to access your bank account in Pesos, it's very easy and you get the best exchange rate. If you have been waiting, or maybe your a little afraid that this isn't something you could do, stop waiting. Cathy the owner is an expert on Playa she can answer any question you can imagine. She isnt just a faceless rental agent she loves this house and this area and visits regularly. We have every intention of returning as soon as possible.
