Newly converted designer spa barn with hot tub , intelligent colour change lighting, 42' flat screen TV, stereo system, DVD and superb outside garden and decking area. This property was completed in Jan 2007 and is now available to holiday let, offering exclusivity and total relaxation in luxurious, well equipped surroundings. Situated in the beautiful countryside surrounding Newport, the Islands quaint capital. Ralph's Spa Barn is the perfect place to stay when attending both the Islands 'not to be missed' music festivals (The Isle of Wight Festival - June, and The Bestival - Sept). Ralph's Spa Barn is also well situated for all the Island attractions , including being only a 10 minute drive from the stunning South Coast beaches and 15 minutes to the famous sailing town of Cowes. A stay at the barn will rejuvenate, inspire, relax and hopefully encourage you to fall in love with our beautiful Island.

The Barn is perfectly situated in the centre of the Isle of Wight, just outside the town centre of Newport but amid rolling countryside. In the immediate vicinity you have the quay town of Newport. Even though Newport is in the centre of the Island, the town is situated on the river Medina and has it's own harbour! You can sit in a pub on the riverside and watch the boats sail by. The town has many individual shops as well as some of the chains like Monsoon & Marks & Spencer. It has lots of wonderful restaurants, wine bars, pubs (cosy & traditional or something a little more lively!), 2 nightclubs, an arts centre which hosts comedy nights and much more. As well as being within walking distance of the town, you are in the middle of fantastic walking country. When you're bored with all that hop in the car or on a bus and visit one of our stunning beaches (nearest 10 min drive).

  • Please telephone or email for any enquiries.A 25% deposit is required for booking.This property can be rented weekly or for short breaks and the price is per property, and can accommodate up to 4 people. Also, motor homes, caravans and tents can be erected in the grounds with permission from us.
  • High season bookings must run from Saturday to Saturday mid-day .If you wish to pay the two week premium to cover a weekend .I will try and book round you and compensate on any subsequent mini bookings. But please don't hesitate to drop me an e-mail or phone I will try to be flexible.

Lovely secluded,clean and comfortable barn with all home comforts and more. The hot tub is a wonderful luxury for a few nights away from everyday life.Is suitable for famileis,couples and singles as the island has attractions to suit all but beware you may not want to leave the barn.

Ralph's Spa Barn is a fantastic spot for a relaxing break on the Isle of Wight and is a little oasis of luxury. We really felt we were living like celebrities for a few days, thanks to the private setting, luxurious interior, gorgeous bedroom, exotic garden, fabulous deck and of course the hot-tub, where we spent quite a lot of time while supping on red wine!

Ralphs Spa Barn is also in an ideal location; nice and central, with easy access via car to the rest of the island, but also near enough to Newport town centre so that you can walk in of an evening and enjoy a drink or two. The setting is also very secluded, so you feel like you're in the middle of nowhere, when actually you aren't! There is a house next door, but you can't see it, and they can't see you - it is totally separate and we didn't once bump in to the neighbours. We really did feel like we'd found our own little slice of paradise!

Impossible to fault

Therefore I won't even try. 24 hours was way to short a duration to do the place justice. Clare, the owner, was a gem presenting my wife with flowers (it was our wedding anniversary weekend). The property was spotlessly clean with a great amount of atention paid to the decor and general upkeep. When you go, make sure you bring home a large collection of postcards of the house with you, as you will want to recomend it to friends. A real find !!!

This is such a lovely space to be in. It's comfortable, cosy and beautifully done up. Clare was a very gracious host.
