Great cabin for motorcyclists looking for privacy!

My husband and I stayed here with our motorcycles and one truck on 12-17 June. We came here for the Combat Vets Motorcycle Association's national meeting, so the entire area was saturated with thousands of our noisy bikes. However, my husband and I hadn’t seen each other in 6 months (we are both active duty military stationed in different states), so we wanted privacy and quiet at night, which we definitely got here. The cabin feels very secluded and is adorable. We absolutely enjoyed having coffee sitting in the rocking chairs on the porch every morning, and I appreciated being able to cook our own breakfast instead of having to get dressed to go to a diner somewhere. Kitchen has everything you need to cook, and there are PLENTY of towels and sheets. We found the beds to be very comfortable and cozy. Also, the area was perfect for going for a short, hilly run in the morning before getting on the bikes all day.
The cabin is located in a sort of little neighborhood of cabins, and of the ones I saw nearby, this one definitely had the most motorcycle-friendly access. The little roads are dirt/gravel and a little curvy, but definitely manageable. When I was first arriving, I was actually on the verge of panic as I drove past a couple of the other cabins, because they had VERY steep driveways that I would NEVER want to tackle on the bike. However, just like Dane (the owner) told me, this cabin is at the end of a straight road, and the turn-around made a perfect parking lot for our bikes, while I parked the truck up in the driveway. (The driveway itself is rather steep, but my husband was able to get up and down it with his huge Triumph Rocket III Touring bike.) The turn-around easily accommodates a small truck and small trailer (I drive a Ford Ranger).
The location was very convenient for us. We were attending events at Fontana Village Resort, and we had friends staying at the Iron Horse Campground, so it was great to be situated between the two places. Also, the Tuskeegee store/gas station is really close.
Making reservations was supereasy-- communication with Dane was great. Directions were great, and we had absolutely no issues the entire time.
I honestly have no idea why anyone would stay in a small room at a noisy motel when places like this are available.
Owner's Response: Silena,
Thank you so much and I am very happy you enjoyed your stay. We pride ourselves on providing a quality place at a reasonable price. Thank you for you and your husbands service to the nation!
Very Respectfully,
Dane
