The area has plenty to offer those looking for a relaxing holiday and also for those looking for something a bit more active. With easy access to the superb city of Alicante and the excellent motorway network, there is plenty to see and do in the surrounding area. Less than 40 minutes by car is the Terra Mitica theme park, Terra Natura, Aqualandia and Mundomar near Benidorm. Close to Gran Alacant is the typically Spanish resort town of Los Arenales. facing onto miles of sandy beaches Los Arenales is a popular weekend retreat for people from Alicante and further afield. In the resort itself are numerous bars and restaurants, some with beach and sea views and some with views to Alicante across the bay. During spring and summer watersports of all types are available. For walkers there are a number of clearly marked trails in the nature reserve which surrounds Gran Alacant.

The terrace has 6 chairs and 2 tables as well as 2 sunloungers and is also lit at night, perfect for breakfast or relaxing in the evening with a glass of wine or two. The stylishly furnished air-conditioned lounge has a 3 seater sofa (double sofa bed), chair, coffee table, rug, side table, pictures and lamps. There is a wall unit with TV, DVD/CD as well as a selection of paperbacks and magazines. The dining area contains a dining table and 6 chairs and standard lamp. From the lounge is a useful serving hatch/breakfast bar to the well equipped, modern kitchen, which has oven, ceramic hob, extractor fan, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. There is also a separate utility area containing an airer, additional sink and washing machine plus iron and ironing board. Just off of the hallway is a handy shower room/WC containing shower, WC, plus marble topped vanity with basin inset and mirror.

The master bedroom contains double bed, built in double wardrobe with chest of 3 drawers, bedside cabinets, rugs and lamp as well as pictures and a mirror. There is also a hairdryer. The second bedroom contains twin beds, built in wardrobe with chest of 3 drawers, bedside cabinet, lamp, rug and pictures. The main bathroom contains a bath with shower over, bidet, WC and basin in a marble topped vanity unit plus mirror. The lovely pool and gardens are less than 25 yards away and the pool has a separate children’s section
