Near-Perfection
We traveled with 16 adults and 9 kids (ages 3 months to 6 years) and the place was just about perfect. The house itself is incredibly charming- the pictures do not do it justice. All of the rooms are pretty spacious (the "girls" room upstairs was particularly large- as big as the master + a closet stocked with toys). The wrap-around porch was an endless source of amusement- the kids chased each other for an hour before dinner every night. The fire pit area (set about 100 yards from the house) was a great surprise as well. And they have a little trail cut around the property- a hilly 20 minute walk was a nice way to start and end the day.
On the downside, the hot water smells pretty bad. It wasn't too much of an issue for a 4 day stay, but it could be if you're there longer. And there was no pantry in the kitchen- so we had to scramble and rearrange all of the cabinets so that we could store our food.
But, bottom line, we will be back.
