ROMANTIC HOUSE WITH GARDEN, NEAR AMSTERDAM AND BEACH

We spent the last few days of our holiday in the Netherlands in Haarlem and knew we had made an excellent choice with this property. It is centrally located and the closest supermarket was within walking distance. Although parking in the street was a bit tricky, Tamara provided us with a 3-hour car parking pass which helped tremendously (plus FREE Sunday Parking). We loved your kitchen which had all the modern conveniences of home (including the toaster!). The street was quiet at night (even the garbo's were hush hush in the early morning). We visited the local Market in the Grote Market which was wonderful and the people at the VVV were very helpful also. Easy transport to Amsterdam via the train is a must and was a lovely experience. You have a lovely home Tamara, very convenient to transport and definitely a place to be proud of, thank you for allowing us to stay there. It was a great end to a fabulous holiday. We will certainly recommend this property to friends and family in Australia should they visit Holland. We'll be back! Tot Ziens : ))

The house is really beautiful and full optioned.
My two kids (5 and 2 years old) enjoyed a lot up and down stairs.
Everything ok.

Our family of six was very comfortable and appreciated the living space—all three floors. We enjoyed the garden in back and ate outside a number of times. The kitchen was well equipped and allowed us to make meals easily. The younger ones liked the ladder to the third bedroom. Also, the owner’s artwork gave the house a personal and overall unique feel.

For Amsterdam visits, we opted for a 20-minute walk along the canals to the Haarlem train station. Amsterdam was a quick hop away. Also, in the other direction one could visit the sea within minutes.

Haarlem is a good city to visit itself. From the house, it’s less than a ten minute walk to a choice of grocery stores. Restaurants and interesting visiting sites are only few minutes further. An odd museum called Teylers mixed science, art and other stuff and turned out to be a delight.

We would return without hesitation.
