Beautiful views across valley to sea.:
There is plenty to do for all nearby. Two championship golf courses are closeby together with the Carvoeiro Tennis Club with all amenties is just a 5 minute walk away. The villa is situated in a small cul de sac and therefore no noise at night from scooters etc., Walking along the valley opposite is a stunning way to start and finish a day.
Where to visit:
There are loads to do. In particular why not eat at the quaint town of Portimao where Sardines are cooked on the barbeque the traditional portugese way. The shopping is good here as well. Beaches in Carvoeiro are stunning and the caves/coves are a great way to search for shells. There are two waterparks the AQUA PARK and SLIDE and SPLASH well worth a visit. Also a Zoomarine is also worth a visit. If you go further inland the beautiful and stunning Monchique is well worth a visit (take your own empty water bottles).Ferragudo is a beautiful and traditional fishing village a must to visit.
Travel like the portuguese:
The new motorway is a must to use to get about and see the local people. Take a trip to the town of Sagres and eat traditional cataplana by the quayside - its beautiful. Another quaint town is Tavira which is well worth a visit. Closer to home try the local restaurants in Benegil a definite must to visit. The beautiful and stunning unspoilt Ferragudo is a must to visit and is only a short drive away.
