Our house is located in a cul de sac with spectacular views of harbour, coastline, mountains, golden sandy beaches and overlooking 2 championship golf courses, the older of which hosted the 2004 Spanish Open. This well furnished house is only 25 meters from the communal pool and children's pool. It is located a short walk from the resort of Calete de Fustes. You can dine al fresco on the upstairs patio, relax and sunbathe on the solarium and breakfast downstairs in the all year round sunshine.

Calete is a family resort with plenty of attractions including water sports, tennis, golf, fishing, glass bottom boat trips, jeep safaris, mountain biking, mini golf, 10 pin bowling, Spa and Health Centre Balnearia, there is something for everyone. It features a pleasant horse shoe shaped bay complete with safe family beaches and a sports marina. The sandy beaches & turquoise waters are a paradise for windsurfers, divers and sun worshippers. All this is completed with an infrastructure that includes wellness clubs, spas, gyms, 5 star hotel complexes, numerous restaurants and shopping centres, including the Atlantico Shopping Centre which has a bowling centre, table games, boutiques, supermarket, restaurants, coffee shops, banks and bars.

Notes: The living area is furnished to a very high standard with 3+2 seater leather couches, coffee table, 28 inch TV with DVD/CD/Video player, ceiling fan, up-lighter and reading lamp. A selection of DVD's and novels are available for your use during your stay. The dining area has a granite breakfast bar with 2 high stools and a table and 4 chairs. The kitchen is well equipped with all utensils and appliances and a big George Foreman grill, sandwich maker, kettle, coffee maker and toaster. There is also an iron, ironing board and vacuum cleaner. The outside utility area has a large sink, washing machine and clotheslines. The upstairs patio area has a large table, umbrella, 6 chairs and cushions, a barbecue and 2 sun lounger’s. The solarium has a further 2 sun lounger’s with a gate to restrict access from young children. The downstairs patio has a table, umbrella and 4 chairs and is ideal for a sunshine breakfast. There are also beach chairs and beach umbrellas available for use.

Local help and support: Our property manager Pam lives nearby and is always available for your queries and offer an excellent service. They will meet you at the house with the keys and explain all the workings of the property. All bedlinen and towels are provided including beach towels and a hair-dryer. A weekly change of bedlinen and towels is provided for guests who book for two or more weeks.

Tourist attractions: There is plenty to see and do for all ages. The following are just some of the attractions available:- the wildlife park La Lajita is a must for all the family and has wonderful sea lion, reptile, birds of prey and parrot shows and a camel safari; the dunes south of Corralejo; the stunning beaches at Costa Calma, El Cotillo and Morro Jable; the caves at Ajuy; island of Los Lobos; day trips to Lanzarote; camel rides on the beautiful beaches; catamaran trips to view dolphins and whales; world surfing championships in July each year on Sotavento Beach; beaches and spectacular coastline of Jandia; BAKU water park in Corralejo; visit to Las Rotondas in Puerte del Rosario which has 70 shops including Zara, Massimo Dutti; Spa Balnearia in Calete where you can treat yourself to a day of pampering for as little as GBP 13.

Travel and tours: Car hire is recommended if you wish to tour the island. However, taxi are reliable, plentiful and can be hired at a relatively low cost. Excellent bus and boat tours are available to the major sights on the island and also to Lanzarote. We can recommend car hire firms if requested. Cars can be hired from as little as GBP 70 per week. We would recommend air conditioning. Bus travel is also efficient and inexpensive and a round trip from Calate to Las Rotondos will cost approximately GBP 2. We have compiled a comprehensive guide to the local area and the island, offering advice about local restaurants, excursions, local attractions, public transport timetables to help you make the most of your holiday in Fuerteventura. Ryanair has 3 flights weekly from Dublin on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, once weekly on Saturday from Shannon and has begun direct services from Liverpool, Dusseldorf and Frankfurt.

I've just returned from my second stay here. Great location - within easy reach of shops, bars, restaurants and of course the 2 golf courses ! The house is spacious - has everything you would need - oven, microwave, 2 TV's / DVD players etc. You can dine or sunbathe on the balcony and if you really want a good roasting (from the sun i mean !) you can lie out on the rooftop - sunbeds, towels etc are all provided. The swimming pool is spotless - cleaned daily - literally 1 minute walk from the front door (about 60 yards). Great place - can't wait to get back.
