The local area provides numerous walks, safe cycling and water sports for the whole family.

Close by is the enchanting 14th century chateau town of Josselin with its half timber houses, bars and restaurants. Not forgetting the lively Saturday morning market. The bustling town of Ploermel is a 10min drive and offers a commercial centre. The designated cycle track, Voie Verte, is only a 2min ride, with 52km of safe cycling for all the family, running from Mauron in the north to the historic market town of Questembert in the south. 10 minutes away is the largest lake in Brittany, Lac au Duc, where you can find a wide variety of water sports, man made beach which has a safe bathing area, pedalos, plus bars and a water toboggan for the little ones. There is also a golf course on the other side of the lake. Virtually on our doorstep is the Forest de Broceliande, where Merlin reputedly lived and is steeped in legends of King Arthur and the Ladyof the Lake.

This stone built house offers comfortable open plan living with oak beams and an open fire. The modern fitted kitchen with a French feel is fully equipped for all of your needs with dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, freezer, microwave, oven and hob with extractor fan . The ground floor also has a twin bedroom, bathroom and separate WC. Upstairs, there are 2 double rooms(1 en suite) and 2 further twin rooms. A shower room and separate W.C. There is a supply of logs for the fire and gas central heating if required. The whole property is light and airy with spectacular views over the Breton countryside. Outside the rear garden is gravelled & landscaped with the added feature of a stone well, which has a locked safety grill cover. Ideal for a peaceful read. The front is grassed & there is plenty of room for children to play.

Excellent quiet location yet just a few minutes drive to well stocked supermarkets, shops etc. A great central base for numerous places of interest.
An ideal area for walking and cycling at any level of ability.
Superb accommodation loveingly modernised and equipped to a very high standard.
Plentiful literature and guidence for keeping every member of the family suitably entertained for the duration of their stay.
Good clear written and verbal instructions from the very pleasant and helpful owners.

Had a lovey break in this astounding old farmhouse which has been refurbished to a very high standard and fitted with all modern ammentities. Plenty of garden for the children to play in. English TV programs via satalite. An Ideal place for large families or a get together and for walking, relaxing, bird watching and fishing etc. A short drive to the village and not far too the lovely picturesque town of Josselin. The owners are a lovely couple and very helpful, lots of tourist pamphlets left in house. Large supermarket in Mauron.
