Bittern is situated on a dyke just off the main River Bure, and is therefore a very peaceful and tranquil spot to while away the hours. You can fish undisturbed by the cruisers going by, no need to be constantly lifting your rods. Just chill out and watch the world and wildlife go by. You are likely to have a heron visit you for his breakfast, and may see a kingfisher if you are lucky. Extensively refurbished to a 4 STAR standard in 2004, Bittern is spacious and airy, with a very good standard of furniture and fittings. Open plan lounge and dining room and kitchen. Very sociable for the cook! This makes it a great place for Christmas or New Year. Ground floor- open plan kitchen/living/dining room, one double bedroom, one twin, bathroom with shower and WC,and separate WC. First floor - one double room, one twin, shower room with WC. Travel cot available. All bedrooms have generous wardrobe and drawer space.

Colour TV/video/DVD/CD player We have arranged preferential rates for boat hire with a local boatyard. 80ft frontage onto secluded backwater, free mooring. Two allocated parking bays. Large waterside lawn and patio with barbeque area and exterior lights. Small children must be closely supervised at all times. Electricity, bed linen and towels included in the price. Pets welcome, smoking allowed in verandah. Pubs, restaurants, shops, leisure centre and boat hire all within a 5 minute walk. Welcome pack provided.
