Villa Baron is situated in a rural location of Chiclana and is set amongst other Villas in a very quiet cul-de-sac. It benefits from the privacy of a large enclosed garden complete with its own pool and more than ample sunbathing terraces. Within a 15 minute drive, there is the choice between the 'Blue Flag' beach of La Barrosa, complete with restaurants and tapas bars. However, for the more ´Tranquil´ time choose the unspoilt beauty of the beach at Sancti Petri. For the more sporty traveller, a choice of Golf, Sailing, windsurfing, walking, cycling, fishing etc are also available. **New for 2008 seperate fully equipped apartment next to pool added. 21 Parque Naturals within Andalucia: Along the coast and in the surrounding countryside, Andalucia has a spectacular and extraordinarily diverse terrain. The Natural parks of Grazalema, Los Alcornocales are within 40 minutes to 1 hours drive away from Chiclana. On these beautiful walks you will encounter numerous villages and places to stop, relax and eat whilst out and about. If visiting in the low season, these walks are ideal as the temperatures are a lot kinder on the keen rambler.

Fiestas and Festivals: The ever popular carnival in Cadiz is just one of the many festivals around the region almost throughout all of February. Not to be missed is the Horse Fair in Jerez during the first week in May. The summer months see an array of ferias, carnivals and parties. Chiclana holds it´s own ´Feria´in the month of June and is an occasion to be enjoyed by all the family. Check the Spanish tourist website for further details.

Ferry across the Straits: Whilst so near, don´t miss the opportunity to cross the straits over to Tangiers for a taste of Morocco. The nearest port from Chiclana is Tarifa, around 40 minutes drive. On the fast ferry you can be in Morocco within 35 minutes. Step back in time and visit the Medina, the old walled city, the Souk or market stalls. Savour the smells and aromatic atmosphere of days gone by.

Golf: LATE BOOKINGS: Any late bookings (not within High Season) within a month of required arrival date are now offered at a 20% discount. However this does mean the total price of the holiday is payable immediately to secure the dates required. A security bond is then to be brought along and held by the proprietor and returned on the day of departure when all is found to be well.

We had a fantastically relaxing holiday. The weather was suburb and the villa surpassed expectations- lots of room for 8 people and a very well designed garden with shady areas for any time of day.Great beaches nearby with fantastic surf. As previouly said very friendly owners who were very welcoming.Would return and would recommend.

A lovely, relaxing holiday

We were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived and nothing was too much trouble. Geoff was extremely friendly and on hand if needed.
A quiet location but the villa is close to the road network, and most places were very easy to reach.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wish it could have been longer!!!

A great family holiday

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Baron. The accomodation was excellent, clean, comfortable and very well maintained. It was very nicely decorated and the gardens were beautiful. The location was perfect for us as it was quiet but within easy reach of everything including the lovely beaches and towns that the Costa de la Luz has to offer. We have two children and they loved going in the swimming pool which although it didnt have much of a shallow end wasnt that deep either. The owners have made a great effort to make this property very welcoming, and it has everything you would need whilst on holiday and more. They were also very helpful with suggestions on where to visit and how to get there. We would definately consider returning as we had a fantastic holiday.

Perfect accommodation and a wonderful holiday

We had a fantastic holiday mainly because we had superb accommodation.

The villa was large, clean, beautifully decorated and had all the facilities we wanted. It was even better than we had imagined.

The owners were extremely helpful and friendly. They made us feel welcome on our arrival, were at the end of a phone if we needed anything and arrived to say farewell to us. A nice touch for our arrival was a bottle of wine in the fridge and a thoughtful loaf and cheese so we had something to eat when we arrived.

We would definitely book this villa again. It cannot be faulted for having everything we needed - excellent, well equipped kitchen, excellent lounge, excellent gardens, excellent pool.

There is ample accommodation for eight people with two double beds plus a twin bedroom in the main villa. Lounge / dining room and ample space outside for dining, barbeques, loungers and the pool.

There is also a self contained 'bungalow' in the grounds which has a beautiful dining/lounge and kitchen area - plus a double bed and bathroom. Very tastefully done.

The pool is a good size which meant we could swim with ease but it doesn't have a shallow end so our personal feeling is that it's probably not really suitable for very small children.

We definitely needed a car to get around.

You will probably have gathered that we were delighted with the villa and would have no hesitation in recommending it. Can't wait to go back there.

This is the first time I have booked a Villa holiday for myself and my Family. I will certainly do this again, the convenience and ease of having a ´home from home´made my holiday complete. Chiclana has been mentioned recently and the Costa de la Luz is the new place ´to go´.
