La Feniere was originally the hayloft of this ancient colombage barn it offers spacious accommodation for 7. For a larger party may we suggest our adjacent studio gite which sleeps up to three extra people.
The spacious open plan living area on the first floor has a cathedral ceiling and exposed beams which leads onto the large south-facing integral balcony.It has wonderful views across the garden and pond to the Pyrenees, an ideal place for the whole family to breakfast or just sit and relax.
The dining area, which seats 7, leads into the well-equipped kitchen which has a fridge/freezer, dish washer, cooker, microwave and toaster.
The lounge has a comfortable sitting area with English TV and video, there is an extensive library of videos and tourist information.
Downstairs are four bedrooms(1 double, 1 twin, 1 bunkroom,1 single) Cots are available. There is a large shower room with 2 washbasins and toilet, and also a separate toilet room.
Outside there is a patio area with table/chairs/umbrella and barbecue. There are lovely views across the garden and access to swimming pools, which have a child safety gate and fence.
The large swimming pool (10 metres by 6.25 metres) has a depth of 1 to 2 metres with steps leading into it. and a separate toddlers pool, both are surrounded by a large paved and grassy area.
The extensive grounds include shady seating areas, plenty of space for boules and badminton, well kept flower beds and a fascinating wildlife pond. There is an orchard of apples, plums, figs and pears which guests are welcome to pick, as well as herbs and vegetables.
The well equipped games room includes table tennis, pool table, table football, darts and skittles. There is also a library, information board, boxed games and toys.
The play area has several swings, a slide and sand pit.
The nearest bakery is five minutes drive away, and the nearest banks, supermarkets, and other facilities are an eight minutes drive.
