Photos and Description of the Athens vacation villa rental Terrific 5 bedroomed villa in wonderful seaside location.

Excellent beach villa with private garden only 10 minutes easy walk to sandy beaches and just 20km from downtown Athens, in Artemida, on the Marathon Coast. This is the nearest beach to Athens. The port of Rafina is just 5 km away so the Greek Islands are within easy reach. Day trips to Andros, Tinos, Mykonos and Paros are offered. Excellent place to stay for all year round vacations with many spectacular famous places to visit, lots of beaches and things to see and do. And of course - sunshine! Shops, restaurants and bars are all within walking distance. Villa Artemis is easy to reach from Athens aiport.

Artemida is a traditional little greek coastal town with a small harbour for private boats. In the Villa you'll be just 10 minutes walk from sandy beaches where you can just relax in the sun or swim, surf, paraglide, fish, sail among other things. Surfing here is excellent and Artemida boasts a very good and popular surfclub. The beach is safe, never overcrowded and ideal for children. During the evenings or the cooler season enjoy a walk along the beach and admire the view - you can see right to Evia. Along the coast road you'll find family friendly restaurants serving traditional greek food for very reasonable prices. The night life is good with bars and discos open all year round. Supermarkets, bakers and other shops are all within 10 walking distance from the Villa. The actual town centre is 30 minutes walk through the beach park. The long main street welcomes you to browse around the boutiques and local shops or just to sit in a beach side cafe and enjoy a drink.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Up to 5 persons: 110 euros per night and 770 euros per week.

    Up to 9 persons: 130 eurpos per night and 900 euros per week. Price inludes final clean at the end of the vacation.

    Security deposit, 150 euros. Sheets are rented out at 8 euros a set to cover laundry costs. This is optional. Towels are not supplied but the washer/drier can be used at no extra cost. We have special offers for long term visitors. Please ask us for a quote.

On the first floor you'll find a modern fully equipped kitchen, lounge with an open fireplace, a more elegant dining room, a store room and wc. Balconies lead out from the entrance door, kitchen and dining room. An interior staircase leads to the second floor where you'll find two bedrooms, one with bunk beds and one with two single beds, and two roll away beds that can be used anywhere in the villa, a store room and a full bathroom. Both bedrooms have a balcony. Exterior marble steps lead up to the roof terrace from where the view of the Aegean Ocean and the mountains is terrific. On the ground floor you'll find three further bedrooms, one with a single bed, one with a double futon and one with two singles, another lounge/kitchen and another full bathroom. We can also supply a baby cot. All rooms have airconditioning, central heating and hot water is unlimited. Ideal for holidays all year round.

The fenced in garden is complete with ample garden furniture, a barbecue and secure parking space within the grounds for two cars or a car and a boat. There are shady areas and areas to sunbathe in. This is a quiet safe area with very little traffic so ideal for children.

Thank you for a really terrific holiday at Villa Artemis and for all your help. It was great to be able to just relax, enjoy the peace and quiet and to be able to walk to the beach. We loved the nearby sandy beaches and the sea was really warm. We spent many happy hours down there.

We were very comfortable at your house and had everything we needed. The villa is certainly roomy and very well equipped - one of the best. We enjoyed being able to sit comfortably outside and made full use of the garden. Your grapes and pomegranites are delicious!

We spent several days sightseeing in Athens but still have lots of things left over for another visit!!! After the bustle of the city we were always glad to get back to the quiet of Artemida!

We will certainly recomment you to all our family and friends. Please give our regards to Pablos and Louisa . They are both really helpful.

Dear Cynthia

Just writing to say how much we enjoyed our holiday at Villa Artemis. The house was perfect for us - very comfortable and well-equipped and all your careful directions and instructions were so helpful. We went into Athens on bus and metro two days and then were out in the car going over to Argolis for about 4 trips and up to sites to the north of Athens a couple of times - there was so much to see that it was impossible even to dent the list, but we certainly fitted in as much as we could while having some "down time" on the beach as well.

We loved the different terraces at the house and places to sit and eat or chill out, and eating supper under hanging grapes was an experience I won't forget in a hurry. How perfect!

With limited ability to communicate, we managed to get the local shop owners on our side and they were very helpful. And as for the beachside tavernas - wonderful!

We thought Artmida was a lovely place to stay - everywhere was family orientated and quiet. I really appreciated the fact that I felt my daughter in particular was completely safe on the beach as everyone seemed to be on holiday as family groups.

I would certanly recommend both Loutsa and Villa Artemis to any of my friends who were looking for a holiday in Greece and may well be in touch for a return visit ourselves!

Terminal 5 gave me a lot of confidence as it was so well run and organised, and the new airport at Athens (since my last visit) was also a pleasant place to arrive and depart. That is always a major factor in whether I feel relatively positive about things or not!
