Villa Lydia is a modern villa set just 4 minutes flat walk from the sandy beach and excellent tavernas and shops in the village of Almyrida. This villa represents excellent value for money and books up early. Set next to an olive grove on the corner plot of a small group of villas, despite its village location, Villa Lydia has lovely views of The White Mountains and the olive clad hillsides that surround Almyrida. Villa Lydia is perfect for either families or couples who like to be independent but not reliant on a car for getting around. Designed in order to maximise the outdoor living area, the terraces, balconies and pool area have a choice of sun or shade for you to enjoy at all times of the day.

The Apokoronas area is just east of the beautiful, historic Venetian city of Chania and includes the beach villages of Almerida and Kalives, the traditional villages of Plaka, Vamos, Gavalohori, Kokkino Horio, and country villages such as Kefalas and Litsarda. From the myriad blues of the clear, calm, ever changing Mediterranean seas, the clean white, sandy beaches, the white Lefka Ori mountains, with the longest gorge in Europe, lush silver-green olive and orange groves, the scent of wild thyme and majestic pine trees surrounding unspoilt villages, even the occasional donkey - Crete has it all.

This is a pretty,painted villa with white aluminium doors, windows and shutters. The owners have furnished the villa throughout with attractive wooden furniture and leather sofas. The bathroom and shower room are finished to a very high standard with beautiful tiles. All modern comforts have been provided for including a TV, DVD and CD players, dishwasher, washing machine, and air conditioning units in the bedrooms and living room. For the cooler nights at the start and end of the season cosy up infront of the open fireplace in the lounge. On the ground floor is the open plan lounge, kitchen, dining area with doors onto the terraces and pool area. There is also a shower room. On the first floor is the master double bedroom, twin bedroom and family bathroom. The bedrooms open to a large balcony with lovely mountain views. In front of the villa is a pool terrace with sun-beds and umbrellas.

To the left of the pool terrace is a grassed area, with colourful flower beds and clay pots are dotted around. At the rear of the villa there is a large BBQ made from natural stone and brick. Villa Lydia is a spacious, comfortable villa with wonderful outdoor areas for you to enjoy the Cretan weather, and is ideal for those of you who would like to have a drink with your meals out and not have to worry about driving home!
