Glynmeddig offers accommodation for up to 20 people in the Brecon Beacons National Park.
The main room has large comfy sofas and a wonderful long table seating 20 people. The room has underfloor heating and a wood burning stove. There is also a games room with table tennis, a pool table and table football. This room has a TV & DVD player as well as Wifi. Glynmeddig also has an all weather tennis court and pavilion.
We have a 4 Star rating from Visit Wales and you can book for weekends, mid week and whole weeks at any time of the year.
Glynmeddig is the perfect venue for your family holiday, reunions and weekends away and activity holidays. We can help arrange outdoor pursuits, team building and management courses, business, corporate, school, college and youth groups.
The building has been beautifully restored with a wealth of ancient beams, arrow slit windows and rustic terracotta floors. Originally stables and a hay barn, it now combines a wonderful living space with indoor recreation facilities. Glynmeddig has extensive grounds with land going down to the river.
Glynmeddig has a large south facing terrace with BBQ. The all weather tennis court and pavilion is set up above the property with wonderful views. Watch the sun set from the pavilion verandah with a glass of wine!
Facing due south on the northern edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park and situated in the meandering Cilieni river valley of the Upper Usk hinterland, hidden half a mile down its own private drive Glynmeddig could not be more appealing both for its privacy and scenery.

My husband & I bought Glynmeddig in 1990 and developed the barn in 2000 as accommodation for groups in a wonderful a rural location.
I ran Brecon Beacons Tourism - the tourism trade association for the Brecon Beacons for 6 years and am a Brecon Beacons Sustainable Tourism Champion which means I have worked with the the Green Tourism Business Scheme and am a National Park Ambassador.

Glynmeddig is a wonderful place and having made it our home and brought up 3 children here we wanted to share it with others. With 5 acres surrounding us there was plenty of room to welcome people to share our place.

The area boasts the highest mountains of southern Britain with the dramatic peaks of Pen-y-Fan and Corn Du.
Largely unspoilt - the area offers a wealth of dramatic scenery, beautiful rivers, remote valleys and fascinating historical sites. It is one of the most versatile locations in Britain for outdoor pursuits and activity holidays.
All the activities, with the exception of the ballooning and surfing happen in the Brecon Beacons National Park and can be reached within half an hour.

We require £300 deposit to secure a booking and the balance will then be due a month before your booking date.
