If you love the mountains, hiking, nature and impressive landscapes; if the idea of living in a lovingly restored farmhouse surrounded by olive orchards and vineyards, appeals, this is for you. Sun by the pool, watching the hawks circle overhead, while sipping the local wine, or head off to explore thousand year old Abbeys, and local restaurants; pack a delicious picnic and hike off into the hills - or drive to the Adriatic and play at the beach. The full house is composed of three units; two autonomous units, each with queen-sized bed in a curtained nook, private en-suite bathroom with shower and bidet, plus a small kitchen with cook-top and microwave; sliding doors open to your own terrace, a barbecue and a view that goes forever. A third larger apartment with a large sitting room, fireplace, kitchen and sleeping loft links the other two to make a full house sleeping up to eight. For couples or smaller families, there are two large apartments a short distance away.

Down a knoll and separated by trees and shrubs is a lovely separate house where there are two autonomous apartments. Each offers comfortable accommodation for 2 or 4 people. Each apartment has a private bedroom with a queen-sized bed, plus a mezzanine up a flight of steps with twin beds that are convertible to King. There is a full bathroom with shower and bidet, plus a small kitchen with stove and microwave. Sliding doors open to your own terrace, and a view that goes forever. There is a large sofa and chairs for relaxing, and dining table and chairs for 4 . The pleasant circular pool is shared with the other house. Fine features include high quality marble counter-tops, terracotta floors, comfortable bedding and a shared circular pool with deck.

Torre de'Passeri is easily accessible by car or train from either Rome or Pescara, each in turn served by a wide choice of low-cost and regular airlines. Do not miss the stunning 9th-12th century Abbazia di San Clemente, the Case di Dante cultural center, or the Palazzo Mazzara just some of many historic monuments nearby.

  • Breakfast can be catered on request.
    A delicious lunch or dinner of local specialties may also be prepared by the excellent cook of the property by prior reservation. Euros 30 a person including wine.
  • A 50% Deposit is required to confirm a booking. The balance is due 60 days before arrival. Euro 65 end -clean charge will be added to rental of each unit.
  • A 50% deposit is required upon confirmation, the balance is payable 60 days before the arrival date, unless your booking is made within a 60 day period of your arrival date, in which case 100% of the rental due is required to secure the booking. The cancellation of a confirmed booking entails the forfeiting of all payments made. However, every effort will be made to find a replacement tenant, in which case the Client will be reimbursed pro-rata, minus a 25% service charge. If the client abandons the property, he loses all rights to any eventual refund or rebate.

We loved the Casale. I don't know if you know that Davide came to stay for a few days with Alessandra while we were there and we had a great time chatting with them and Davide imparted some of his local knowledge which was great too. Very nice people and great hosts. The Casale itself was perfect for us. No neighbours, no one overlooking us and wonderful views of the town, the valley and the National Parks, plural! It was very comfortable and had pretty much everything that we needed. The location is good as the supermarket in town is close and excellent. The pictures on the website actually do not the Casale justice. The pool is larger than it appears and the deck area was a great place to relax, read or snooze. The journey from Rome is not too far and the route takes you through some beautiful countryside so both Rome and Pescara are options to fly to. We would definitely come back and do some more exploring and enjoy the peace and quiet. Abruzzo is beautiful. Great honeymoon,
