All together La Collinaccia villa boasts two double bedrooms and six twin bedrooms, with a total of eight bathrooms. Four bedrooms and four bathrooms are on each floor. One ground floor bedroom is an 'upstairs' room with spectacular views. The accomodation on the ground floor has a large living room with open fireplace that looks out to the north and the east. Off the living room is a separate dining room which seats 8 persons and leads into a large, fully equipped kitchen with a full utility room behind. The doors to the dining room and kitchen open directly to the outside for outdoor eating while enjoying the beautifull view.
On the first floor is another living room, a large family style dining room separated from the kitchen by an architectural arch. An alternative, unique, dining area has also been created from a large entrance hall with its own open fireplace, and which can seat at least 16 people.
This is available for use on its own, or if our guests wish to use the 'Summer kitchen' off this entrance hall as well, we will substitute the use of this kitchen and dining facility instead of the kitchen and dining room on the first floor. There is a door from this dining hall that leads directly into the dining room of the ground floor apartment and thus joining both floors internally. There is another utility room as well off of this lobby/hall.
All rooms are decorated with beautiful art prints and artifacts to make the house very warm and interesting.
The large swimming pool, open from May 8 to 25 September, (5x10mt; depth 1,20-1,90mt) and grounds, with a gracious outdoor dining area, is arranged to accomodate our guests in easy comfort.
The local village, Tredozio, boasts a Michelin-stared restaurant. Local produce: honey, eggs, wine, cheese, olive oil, vegetables made on the estate, can be purchased directly, we breed chickens and rabbits for the market.
There are regular flight services with Ryan Air between London and Bologna and Wind Jet between London and Forlì, otherwise you can fly to Bologna with regular airlines.
Basic Grocery Shopping: We can arrange for a starter amount of milk, coffee, tea, bread, sugar, water, fruit, organic eggs, local olive oil, butter, jam, orange juice and other items for an admin fee plus costs. For additional shopping there are local shops.
Further Extras: -catered dinner at your Villa is available and can be cooked in your Villa by the chef of the local Michelin stared restaurant, Il Mulino. We offer you a special dinner at La Collina, the 15th century Villa of your host at the cost of approximately €45 per person (for stays of one week or more). The Villa La Collina is steeped in the history both of the region and its time and has been owned over the centuries by the same family.Cooking classes and visits to a famous ceramic workshop are available. Extra maid service is available upon request
