2 Bedrooms, 1 bathroom, accommodation for 4 people.

The apartment is on the second (top) floor of a new block situated on the edge of the small village of Chirles in the mountains West of Benidorm which is 20min away by car. It is South-facing with lovely country and mountain views plus a distant sea-view. The village has a distinctly Spanish flavour and three good restaurants and a small super-market. Parking for 2 cars is available in the basement car-park. There is no lift. The area is ideal for people who want relaxation, peace and quiet.

Enjoy the peace and tranquility away from the madding crowd in this lovely apartment in the hills of Spain. Go walking or climbing in the mountains to your heart's content. Relax with a glass of cava on the South-facing balcony before strolling to one of the fine retaurants in the village for a menu del dia with wine for about €15.

If you want the beach or some night-life, take the 20-minute drive to Benidorm. Nature and theme parks are a 15-minute drive away.

We are a retired British couple living in Moraira which is about 40 minutes away by car from our apartment so we are easily accessible to resolve any problems that may arise.

The area of Chirles/Polop is very rural with wonderful mountain views and appealed to us as a get-away area to relax, go walking, etc. after the busier urban environment where we live.

What makes this apartment unique

The apartment was bought off-plan after a friend introduced us to the area. The village has a unique Spanish character in the hills West of the coast yet only 20 mins by car from Benidorm, even closer to several theme parks to satisfy our children & grand-children. We were not disappointed by the quality of the construction and use the apartment ourselves for several weeks through the winter.

Excellent location; Comfortable apartment

We had a great stay in this apartment. It was very clean and well equiped. The owners are very friendly and always there to help. Everything went without problems.
The view is very good and there was almost no traffic. We had no problems with parking at all.
I would highly recommend this apartment and hope that we will be able to return there on our next visit to Costa Blanca.

Great getaway

I stayed here with my wife and 10 year-old, and we found the apartment to be clean, comfortable, and in a very good location. Not only is it a beautiful little village in the mountains, it's really close to the sea and waterparks.

Pleasant hollidays / Vacances agréable

The apartment is roomy and pleasant. It is well located in an owl small village very calm and there is a beautiful small park for the children thus a pleasant small restaurant. There's a lot of beautiful walk to be made with foot or bicycle. It's near Altea and Benidorm (12 Km) two very beautiful city which offers landscapes splendid as well as very beautiful beach.
We were very received by the owners who are very sympathetic.
We recommend this apartment.

L'appartement est spacieux et agréable. Il est bien situé dans un chouette petit village très calme, il y a un magnifique petit parc pour les enfants ainsi qu'un agréable petit restaurant. Il y a beaucoup de promenade à faire à pied ou à vélo. C'est près de Altéa et Benidorm deux villes magnifique qui offre de superbe paysage ainsi que de très belles plages.
Nous avons été bien accueilli par les propriétaires qui sont très sympathique.
Nous recommandons cet appartement.

Very good value, lovely apartment

I was very impressed by my time in this apartment.

To start with, it was very well-kept and clean, and you have beautiful views of the Spanish countryside from the balcony. The owners left a small welcome pack containing the essentials to tide us over (bacon, eggs, bread, orange juice, a little washing-up liquid, etc.) and there is a supermarket about 3 minutes walk from the apartment block. It is a very quiet place, which is perfect for a relaxing getaway, but if you want to explore the area, it is only about 5 minutes' drive from the charming town of Polop, and about 20 minutes from Benidorm if you want a big night out. The rent includes two secure car-parking spaces and seems very reasonable for the area and the facilities.

I highly recommend this apartment, as long as you are happy to use your car to explore the area.

Fantastic retreat in the Spanish hills

Booked this on a whim with a friend of mine - we both really like Spain and were looking for somewhere pretty relaxed where we could hike during the day and chill out in the evening with a bottle of Spanish wine!

The location of this place was ideal. At first we were hesitant given its proximity to Benidorm and the influx of tourists that descend there, but once you get the other side of the mountain it's so remote and cut-off that it was truly peaceful! The mountains were literally on our doorstep. The village is small but there are nice places to eat (barbequed spanish sausages - delicious!) and the next town (Pollop) has everything you need.

The apartment was nice enough - really well kitted out, spotlessly clean and comfy. The picture on the website doesn't do it justice! All mod cons, etc - in fact, it felt brand new.

Overall, really happy with the week we spent there - would definitely go back (have already tentatively reserved actually!).

Would recommend for outdoorsy people or those looking for a calm time away with guaranteed sunshine in a beautiful setting. There are also a couple of theme parks within easy drive if that floats your boat too!

The apartment is in the small village of Chirles (Xirles) about 1.5 km from Polop off the road to Guadalest. There are views of the Bernia and Monte Ponoch mountains and a distant view of the sea. The area is very rural and away from the bustle of Benidorm though it is accessible in 20 minutes. The hill-top towns of Polop and La Nucia have a distinctly Spanish flavour with regular fiestas and weekly markets.

It is also conveniently placed for the theme parks of Terra Mitica, MundoMar and Aqualandia which are about 15 mins away by car.

The South-facing apartment overlooks a valley of orange and lemon groves and a small farm.

Guadalest is about 20 minutes away by car and has a convent which is flood-lit at night and built on top of a cliff with lovely views of a lake and surrounding country.
