MEADOW COTTAGE is a comfortable, well equipped, renovated stone cottage that sleeps 4. Approached by a farm track, this idyllic cottage nestles in a meadow with far reaching views. The nearest town is Llandovery, 3.5 miles away so a car is essential. The town has an interesting history that is well explained in its Heritage Museum. There are several pubs and many places to eat within the surrounding area. The cottage has a double bedroom and bathroom on the first floor & a twin bedroom on the ground floor. It has is a comfortable lounge and a large kitchen/dining room with an electric range. French doors lead from the kitchen to the patio, the garden and through a wooden gate to the meadow beyond. The area is a home to a wealth of wildlife (badgers, foxes, red kite, heron, wild duck, buzzards and a variety of small birds). Bird feeders are provided.

Meadow Cottage is within a few miles of the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park and approximately 1 hour from the coast. Local attractions include Carreg Cennen Castle, Gelli Aur Country Park, Aberglasney House and Gardens, the National Botanic Gardens, Dinefwr Park & Castle, the Dolau Cothi Gold Mine, the Red Kite feeding station at Llanddeusant, the Dan yr Ogof Caves, the coast at Tenby, Laughane, Cardigan Bay and Pembrey Country Park, the Brecon Jazz Festival every August, summer village shows and the annual Llandeilo flower and music festival. For the fresh water fisherman, Springwater Lakes is just a few miles away.
