Captain's Retreat is perfectly situated in a quiet, elevated position but within an easy downhill walk of the town with shops, pubs, restaurants, the beach & harbour. Fishing, boating, tennis, bowls, putting, watersports, golf, riding and National Trust houses and gardens are all available close by. Plymouth can be reached in about half an hour by car and the Eden Project & The Lost Gardens of Heligan are only about a forty minute drive. Padstow and the north Cornish coast are an hour distant.
