Villa Martelles is a spacious family villa set in over 3,000sq m of lawned, terraced gardens with tremendous views over the hilltop village of Le Bar-sur-Loup and the mountains beyond. There are 4 bedrooms (3 doubles and a twin) and two bathrooms. The main living room opens onto an outdoor terrace overlooking the view and has satellite TV as well as wifi internet. There's an indoor dining room and a second sitting room/TV den as well as a large family kitchen with breakfast area. The accommodation is on two levels with two bedrooms upstairs and two down as well as a large downstairs play area making it an ideal holiday destination for a family with children, relatives and friends. Set in a quiet rural, residential area with neighbouring olive groves and gardens, the villa is only a few minutes into the picturesque village of Le Bar, ideally placed between the mountains and the Mediterranean being only 20 minutes to Valbonne and Vence and half an hour to Cannes and the coast.

Villa Martelles is nestled in the foothills of the Loup Valley with spectacular views over the 'perched' medieval village of Le Bar-sur-Loup about 1km away. Le Bar has a comprehensive range of local shops and several excellent restaurants serving everything from pizza to haute cuisine. It’s about five minutes drive to the larger shopping area of Chateaneuf. There’s plenty to see and do nearby including the lively market town of Valbonne, the perfumeries of Grasse and St Paul de Vence, home to the Impressionist painters. The property is ideally place to enjoy both the villages of the interior and the attractions of the Cote d’Azur. Cannes, Antibes and the beaches of the coast are about 25 minutes away and it’s about 40 minutes from Nice airport. Activities on the doorstep include golf (9 courses within 15 minutes), tennis, riding, cycling, paragliding, and breathtaking mountain walks.

  • This is a spacious family house with two double bedrooms upstairs (can be arranged as double and 2 twins) and a large family bathroom with bath and power shower and separate WC. Downstairs there’s a double bedroom, twin bedroom and bathroom as well as a large playroom with darts board and games which leads out to the table tennis area in the garden. The living room has comfy seating for 8 and is airy and light with large French windows opening onto an outdoor terrace. From here are beautiful view of the village and mountains beyond. On the terrace there’s an occasional table and chairs as well as an outdoor dining table with seating for 10. Off the main sitting room is a separate TV area with satellite TV and DVD player. The indoor dining area seats 8. There's a family kitchen fully equipped with fridge/freezer, oven, hob and microwave and there’s a breakfast table and chairs with TV.
