Renovated lakeside farmhouse in the Gers with beautiful mountain and forest views. Swimming pool (12m x 5m) with cedar deck (shared with owners). 4 Bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, living room,kitchen and utility room. The games room is in the the barn and is used for table tennis, darts etc. Badminton equipment is provided for the lawn and tennis rackets for use on the municipal courts and four bikes are available. Private terrace and barbecue area. Sizeable pond stocked with carp, roach and pike. Indoors the kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher, TV, video, DVD and music systems. English language library and video, and DVD collection stored in the games room. Laundry facilities. Every amenity in close proximity, sailing, paragliding, golf, canoeing, horse trekking, white water rafting, swimming, tennis, adventure parks, fishing, restaurants, shopping etc, etc.

The farmhouse is in a superb rural situation. To the north is a view of the full length of 'Lac d'Astarac', to the east is a wooded hillside teaming with bird life and to the south a dramatic view of the Pyrenees.We are on the south side of the lake close to the town of Masseube, which is to be found twenty miles south of Auch the county town of the Gers. One hour due south you hit the Spanish border and the gateway to the Pyrennees. There are numerous picturesque villages in the area, which are well worth visiting, especially when there is a local market or brochante on. There is a constant stream of festivals during the summer, for jazz, Latin, dance etc. which can be great fun. The local golf course is nine holes(five minutes away) and there are three eighteen hole courses within half and hour. Toulouse is only an hours drive for great culture and shopping. The medieval city Auch is half an hour away and is the home of D'Artangnan.
