La Petite has its own private, fenced garden planted with rosemary and lavender shrubs and pots of aromatic herbs. At the left-hand side of the house, the vine covered terrace offers a shady eating or sitting area with a brick-built BBQ chimney and table/chairs for 8 people.
Inside the house, the well equipped kitchen and dining area are complimented by the wood-burning stove installed in the original farmhouse chimney. The kitchen has a cooker and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and other gadgets plus lots of crockery and cutlery for those budding chefs wanting to make the most of the fabulous local produce. The spacious dining area has a large oak table and 7 chairs and overlooks the rear of the cottage. Also at the rear is a separate lounge with sofa, chairs, TV with UK satellite TV, DVD, CD player and well stocked bookshelves.
One of the sparkling white bathrooms is located on the ground floor with an understairs storage area housing the washing machine, iron and ironing board.
Upstairs is a large, airy landing overlooking the vines and two double bedrooms - 1 to the front, the other to the rear. Each has traditional Gascon furniture, brass bedsteads and firm English mattresses. A further, twin bedded room (suitable for adults) is at the rear of the house.
A second, well equipped bathroom is located on the first floor.
