Villa Sofia is located on a hillside amongst olive groves enjoying wonderful views of Kalkan. All balconies face the outstanding Kalkan Bay and the private pool offers bathing for 6 people in comfort. This stylish new villa is fully air conditioned, accommodating 6 people in 3 large double bedrooms all with en suites. One bedroom has a super-kingsize bed, patio doors leading onto balcony, the 2nd bedroom has 2 single beds, patio doors onto balcony and the 3rd bedroom has a kingsize bed together with an en suite bathroom which has a jacuzzi bath boasting stunning sea views - with patio doors leading onto extensive roof terrace with table and chairs and private sunbathing area. Natural stone floor tiles throughout help to maintain a cool interior. There is a modern kitchen which is well equipped with large fridge-freezer, oven with hob, washing machine and dishwasher. Alfresco dining area with table and chairs for 6. Sun terrace with parasols, sunloungers and gardens.

Kalkan is one of the most attractive and unspoilt resorts on the Mediterranean coast with its fine harbour, marina and myriad of narrow streets of Ottoman-Greek houses. An extensive range of over 100 restaurants can be found offering either simple home cooking or sophisticated harbour side dining on the rooftop restaurants. After dinner wander through the cobbled streets which house an array of shopping opportunities featuring traditional carpet shops, antique shops, bazaars etc. Market day is Thursday offering an amazing selection of fruit, veg, clothing and more! There are supermarkets (who will deliver your groceries FOC) and butchers, bakers etc. nearby. Whatever you do Villa Sofia is the perfect place to stay in luxury. Hire a car or take a taxi to Patara Beach - beautiful sand, safe bathing and unspoilt surrounds. There are sunbeds and a restaurant. This beautiful area has already caught the eye of the Sunday Times Newspaper!

Getting there: We will arrange private transfers for you from the airport direct to Villa Sofia with our very reliable local car hire company. Our driver will meet you at the airport with a board clearly displaying your name on it, along with the name Villa Sofia. All cars or minibuses (depending on numbers) are fully air-conditioned and your driver will make sure that you reach the villa safe and sound to enjoy your holiday in Kalkan. Our transfer prices have been specially negotiated for our guests and are £45 for 4 people each way and £60 for 6 people each way.

Extra Info: This is a luxury villa with everything you need for a stress free holiday, sunbeds to soak up the sun, all mod cons at hand with the fantastic views, peace and quiet of Kalkan which caters for most age groups including teenagers. There is a nightclub by the harbour and a few local bars for those who wish to stay up late. There is a sports bar for those who are interested. The gardens are beautiful, with banana trees, bougainvillea, palm trees and many other flowering shrubs, which are lit up at night with up lighters and spotlights (as is the pool) should you fancy a midnight dip!

lovely villa, lovely place

We have just come back from Villa Sofia and we had two weeks holiday in Kalkan. We found the villa to be very confortable and enjoyed the luxury of having our own private swimming pool. It had everything we needed. We strongly recommend this villa to anyone wishing to visit this beautiful part of Turkey. It is very laid back and relaxed and this is what we wanted. Hopefully we will come back in the future...

Wonderful villa

We have just returned from a fantastic 2 week stay at this villa.Couldn't fault it really....wonderful views of the bay,spacious sized rooms, lovely furnishings, great pool and serviced twice a week. We also thought it was v.good value for money relative to similar properties in for example Portugal or Italy.
In terms of getting around we hired a car but you could get away with not having to do so. My daughter & I walked down to the town one afternoon and back but should have caught a taxi for the return as steep climb back to the villa and obviously hot !
Would thoroughly recommend Villa Sofia and the beautiful town of Kalkan.

This was one of the most relaxing and enjoyable holidays we have ever had. The villa was beautiful and such a pleasure to stay in. It was extremely spacious and offers excellent accommodation. The property was very clean and well maintained. We were very impressed with all the small touches. The resort was delightful and the people were so friendly and kind. In summary, we loved it and hope to go back very soon. We did hire a car which was extremely useful however there are ample taxis and the local shops will deliver your groceries and take away food.

We highly recommend this villa.

Villa Sofia

Villa Sofia is beautiful, very comfortable and well maintained and everything is of a very high standard both inside and out - the photos do not fully do it justice! Bedrooms are spacious with beautiful en suite bathrooms and balconies, the views are wonderul and the villa is in a very peaceful location, although it is a fair walk to the village. Taxis are easy to come by however.

The pool is lovely and a good size, although very deep with no shallow end and so may not be suitable for small children. The terrace was cleaned every day by friendly guys and the property was also cleaned while we were there. Our holiday was wonderful and relaxing- the villlage of Kalkan is lovely, the people are very friendly and there are plenty very good restaurants, bars and cafes.

We have had several villa holidays and would rate this villa very highly. We had a fantastic holiday here and would recommend the villa as an excellent choice for a relaxing holiday in lovely surroundings. Wish we had had been able to stay longer than a week!
