Rent a kayak or canoe and paddle around the lake; boat access to nearby Wilson Pond as well. Monmouth Theatre is close by for evening entertainment. Augusta (the State Capitol) is only 16 miles away with museums and shopping. In the winter consider Duck Inn as a getaway for skiing at a nearby ski area. Besides the skiing there will be skating on the pond and ice fishing.
