Villa Rahat reflects it's name. Rahat in Turkish means comfort and a stay here means you will soon leave the daily pressures behind. Many guests have written to say that their stay here was the most relaxing holiday they have ever had! The villa has all the comforts of a solid wood fitted kitchen, with halogen hob, cooker, fridge freezer, washing machine, marble worktops and splashbacks and open plan living and dining area. Villa Rahat sleeps six in 2 doubles and one twin bedroom. There is a family bathroom upstairs and a toilet downstairs. Outside there is a Turkish kilim cushioned seating area, BBQ and it's own garden. The pool is large and is shared with the other 7 villas, however, these are rarely rented out and guests often have the pool to themselves during their stay as a result. Villa Rahat is in a quiet area of Dalyan 8-10 mins walk from the centre. It overlooks a designated open area where cows are often tethered, with views of the town and mountains beyond that.

The area around Dalyan has enough activities to keep young and old entertained for the entire holiday without the need to worry about hiring a car. Dalyan is on a river delta and is flat and therefore ideal for walking and cycling. The glorious river is the centre of a wide delta and is surrounded by mountains which form an impressive 360 degree backdrop. Boats are the main form of transport for a variety of days out. The favourite is to the 3 mile long beach, a beach made famous worldwide by David Bellamy as it is a nesting ground for ancient loggerhead turtles. The trip to the beach is magnificent, you pass through the reed beds toward the beach, passing the ancient city of Caunos on the way, complete with amphitheatre and Roman baths. You may like to hire a boat for the day to explore the many blue coves out to sea or upstream to the wonderful lake. Lunch and drinks can be provided onboard at a very reasonable rate.

Villa Rahat is in a small courtyard development of eight villas which share the central pool. Not all the villas are rented out so there is no problem with over crowding. Two of the villas are owned by local people who are very welcoming and helpful. The garden at the side and back of Villa Rahat are private to the villa which also benefits from three balconies. Inside, the villa has an open plan design with lounge, dining and kitchen areas. The Kitchen area is divided from the dining area by a breakfast bar. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, halogen hob, washing machine and full sized fridge with freezer compartment. there is also air conditioning for the downstairs. By the front door there is a downstairs cloackroom. Upstairs there are three bedrooms, two double and one twin and a large bathroom with bath and shower. Each of the bedrooms have fans and shutters on all the windows with mosquito netting for added protection.

The price is per week for the entire villa and includes all linen, except outside towels, one return airport transfer, use of English speaking agent and mid stay cleaning.
