Why Kelly chose Block Island

My family has vacationed on Block Island for over 36 years. In 2003, 9 family members realized a dream when we bought this 'fixer upper.' We spent 8 months renovating this historic home. The house was renovated with large families in mind so we may all enjoy a vacation at the beach.

What makes this farmhouse unique

The best part of this house is the kitchen. Among my family members we have three trained chefs and almost all of like to cook. The kitchen is a gathering place for cooking and socializing. The house also has some quiet areas that allows some of us to stay up late and make noise while some of us are sleeping peacefully. The yard has seen many whiffle ball games, the dining room many card games and whenever one of us is planning an event, we plan it at Lynn's Way.

Perfect house for a large group

We recently had a girls weekend on the island and this house could not have been more perfect. Sleeping space for everyone, comfortable beds, great (huge!) dining room, 2 large porches, lots of yard space for outdoor games and in a very quiet part of the island. The kitchen accommodates large groups with 2 freezer/fridge's, two ovens, 3 sinks in kitchen and one in the pantry. It was the meeting place for afternoon cocktails...we had a blast!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

Just got back from a fabulous stay at Lynn's Way. The house was well appointed for our needs - lots of kitchen accessories (and what a kitchen!), beach toys for the kids, lots of blankets and pillows. There was plenty of space for our large group, with bedrooms to spare. It's apparent that the owners go out of their way to make tenants feel welcome in their home. Highly recommended!
